The Spam-whitelist page is used in conjunction with the Mediawiki SpamBlacklist extension, and lists strings of text that override Meta's blacklist and the local spam-blacklist.

Please enter your requests at the bottom of the "proposed additions", "proposed removals", or "troubleshooting" section, as appropriate, and not at the bottom of the page. Sign your requests with four tildes: ~~~~

Also in your request, please include the following:

    1. The link that you want whitelisted in the section title, like === example.com/help/index.php === .
    2. The Wikipedia page on which you want to use the link
    3. An explanation why it would be useful to the encyclopedia article proper
    4. If the site you're requesting is listed at /Common requests, please include confirmation that you have read the reason why requests regarding the site are commonly denied and that you still desire to proceed with your request

Important: You must provide a full link to the specific web page you want to be whitelisted (leave out the http:// from the front; otherwise you will not be able to save your edit to this page). Requests quoting only a domain (i.e. ending in .com or similar with nothing after the / character) are likely to be denied. If you wish to have a site fully unblocked please visit the relevant section of MediaWiki talk:Spam-blacklist.

Note: Do not request links to be whitelisted where you can reasonably suspect that the material you want to link to is in violation of copyright (see WP:LINKVIO). Such requests will likely be summarily rejected.

There is no automated notification system in place for the results of requests, and you will not be notified when your request has a response. You should therefore add this page to your personal watch list, to your notifications through the subscribe feature, or check back here every few days to see if there is any progress on it; in particular, you should check whether administrators have raised any additional queries or expressed any concerns about the request, as failure to reply to these promptly will generally result in the request being denied.

    Completed requests are archived, additions and removal are logged. →snippet for logging: {{/request|1360725863#section_name}}

Note that requests from new or unregistered users are not usually considered.

    Proposed additions

    [edit]

If you have a source that you would like to add to the spam-whitelist, but you are uncertain that it meets Wikipedia's guideline on reliability, please ask for opinions on the Reliable sources noticeboard, to confirm that it does meet that guideline, before submitting your whitelisting request here. In your request, link to the confirming discussion on that noticeboard.

Likewise, if you have an external link that you are uncertain meets Wikipedia's guideline on external links, please get confirmation on the External links noticeboard before submitting your whitelisting request here.

If your whitelist request falls under one of these two categories, the admins will be more willing to have the source whitelisted if you can achieve consensus at one of the above noticeboards.

Link requested to be whitelisted: https://duomo.wirklich.xyz/index.html

This is a single-page web-site,so duomo.wirklich.xyz would be better, but this may collide with the "no whitelist for domains" rule. Not sure.

It is useful to oppressed or otherwise censored editors on wiki as well as readers. This is officially their domain which they claim: here alongside their web server responding with the Onion-Location header to the same address.

    W00zles (talk) 23:47, 16 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@W00zles I would like to get more information here. For which page this is going to be used, what do you mean with 'useful to oppressed or otherwise censored editors'? Dirk Beetstra T C 09:31, 17 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@Beetstra Internet Archive is the article in question to my understanding. The second part is obvious imo, if a user navigates to the page in the Tor browser (which I assume would be used in contexts where folks desire the anonymity, like to circumvent censorship or performing journalism on oppressive regimes), they will be able to directly click on the link in the article. Sohom (talk) 13:10, 17 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@Beetstra I agree with @Sohom Datta. This is for Internet Archive, certain regimes have censored or otherwise locked out Archive.org. This is the main archive tool for Wikipedia, so I believe it is important that editors and readers have all possible ways of accessing the tool.
The other reason an onion link is important is if you attempt to use Tor, it is a technical risk to use typical connections because exit nodes can track or manipulate data presented. This is a unique issue to Archive.org as it presents insecure access (http) if needed. This entire issue is sidesteps by using the internal routing via a .onion domain. W00zles (talk) 21:50, 31 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@W00zles/@Sohom Datta Now this is then confusing. If it is to access archives on the dark web of our linked references then one would need to link this in all archive links (which I then think needs a wider consensus first, I totally see your point there). As a second official website on Internet Archive I see there less of a use. Do you really expect people to navigate away from the page they are reading, moving to Internet Archive (expecting that we provide the service to link there; I expect that people who need this have this already bookmarked and/or use url rewrite rules in their browsr), following the .onion in a separate page, then hopping back to the article of interest to then convert the archive link? I don't really see a compelling reason to ignore WP:ELMINOFFICIAL on Internet Archive. Dirk Beetstra T C 09:16, 1 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

    AMI Labs

    [edit]

This is the official website of Advanced Machine Intelligence Labs. I don't fully understand why it is blacklisted and would like to whitelist this link. rayukk | talk 22:57, 10 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

no Declined. The entire .xyz TLD is blacklisted due to the rarity of legitimately useful sites that exist with that TLD. We don't whitelist entire domains here, only specific pages. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 00:15, 11 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@Anachronist: so how can I add their official website to the article? It's legitimate. rayukk | talk 09:54, 11 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
You can add it without the "https" prefix. There is no requirement for the website domain name to be clickable. The article doesn't make a strong case for notability, however, and the company is only half a year old, so I'm wondering if it would even survive AFD. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 14:36, 11 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Actually we do sometimes whitelist entire domains when the reason for the blacklisting is a whole TLD. * Pppery * in solidarity 16:20, 28 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

I am requesting that studywell.xyz be whitelisted so it can be included as the official website link in the article Draft:StudyWell.

StudyWell.xyz is a legitimate AI-powered educational technology platform launched on May 26, 2026, founded by two 13-year-old entrepreneurs from New Jersey. The .xyz domain is the official and only domain for this product. The site is not spam and does not engage in link farming or any abusive behavior.

    Why it should be whitelisted:

    • It is the sole official website of the company
    • The article Draft:StudyWell cannot properly reference
     the platform without it

    • The domain was chosen as a product name extension,
     not for spam purposes

Specific link requested: Link requested to be whitelisted: studywell.xyz

I have disclosed my conflict of interest as the founder of StudyWell per Wikipedia's COI guidelines.

    Ybelov30 (talk) 00:42, 6 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

no Declined We basically never whitelist sites at the request of users with a conflict of interest. The .xyz TLD is sometimes an exception subject to more liberal whitelisting rules, but we also don't as a rule whitelist domains to be used on drafts so I'm not going to make an exception here. If Draft:StudyWell is accepted to mainspace and survives NPP/AfC, feel free to re-request. * Pppery * in solidarity 01:04, 6 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

    Whitelist request: simform.com

    [edit]

    Link requested to be whitelisted:

Purpose: To use simform.com as an official website citation in Draft:Simform, a proposed encyclopedic article being prepared for WP:AFC review.

Encyclopedic benefit to Wikipedia: Including simform.com allows accurate primary source citation for basic factual information - founding year, headquarters location, and official company name – which cannot be reliably verified from independent publications alone. This is standard for company infoboxes and cannot reasonably be replaced by a third-party source.

Background: simform.com was blacklisted in 2021 following promotional link additions by unrelated accounts. Those accounts are no longer active. I recognise that the absence of recent spam may itself be a consequence of the blacklisting; however, I am not requesting full delisting - only a whitelist exemption for one specific URL used as an infobox citation in one draft article. The intended use is limited to that context.

Proposed use - specific and limited:

    • Official website citation in article infobox only
    • Primary source for founding year and headquarters location
    • NOT in the external links section
    • NOT for promotional purposes
    • Intended use is scoped to Draft:Simform only

COI and paid editing disclosure: Per WP:COI, I am an employee of Simform. Per WP:PAID, I am disclosing that I am employed by the subject company. Full disclosure is on my user talk page. The draft will be submitted through WP:AFC for independent review by neutral editors before any article goes live. TechEditorMan (talk) 09:49, 13 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@TechEditorMan: per MediaWiki talk:Spam-whitelist/Common_requests#The_official_homepage_of_the_subject_of_a_page, we would need an about-page or a full url (including an index.htm) of the index page. Can you please provide a suitable link?
Note that we will whitelist this only when the draft is accepted into mainspace, until then this is also On hold. --Dirk Beetstra T C 09:55, 13 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the guidance. The specific URL I am requesting is: {{WLRequestLink|simform.com/}} I understand the request will remain on hold until the draft is accepted into mainspace. I will return to update this thread once Draft:Simform is live. ~~~~ TechEditorMan (talk) 10:06, 13 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@TechEditorMan That is still basically a negation of the spam-blacklist entry, we really need an about page, please read the instructions. Dirk Beetstra T C 10:07, 13 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

    [edit]

Requesting whitelisting of the official website of Munley Law Personal Injury Attorneys, a personal injury law firm founded in Scranton, Pennsylvania, in 1959 (Wikidata: d:Q139293913).

The link would be added to:

The site is a legitimate law firm website listed on Martindale-Hubbell, Super Lawyers, and Best Lawyers. It is not a spam site. The domain was blacklisted at some point, but does not meet the criteria for remaining on the blacklist. Wlindars (talk) 20:19, 13 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Wlindars: no Declined. Please request this as a delisting request ( Defer to Global blacklist - it is globally blacklisted) or as a specific whitelisting request (in the correct section above), following the instructions specific for either page (this is the wrong section for here). Note that legitimate websites are still sometimes spammed or heavily abused and therefore will not be removed. --Dirk Beetstra T C 07:13, 15 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Note earlier request from the same user above on this page, which I declined. The user's contributions suggest this is a COI request, which we wouldn't entertain anyway. ~Anachronist (who / me) (talk) 00:04, 2 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

    UK Parliament Petition

    [edit]

I am trying to make a article about the term “Foid”, i wanted to add the fact that there was a petition to ban the word in the UK, due to the word petition being in URL i cannot use it. It is the first page that comes up after searching “foid” in google Sinjarist

@Sinjarist You have to make a request in the above '#Proposed additions-section using the instructions given there. Note that this qualifies as a primary source (often with bias, petition sites are blacklisted for soapboxing reasons) and that you (likely) need sufficient independent sources. Whitelist request: shuftipro.com (official homepage)

    [edit]

Link requested to be whitelisted: Link requested to be whitelisted: shuftipro.com/

Article the link would be used in: Draft:Shufti Pro (in preparation, to be submitted through Articles for Creation).

Reason: I am requesting only the official homepage, to be used as the standard official-website external link (per WP:ELOFFICIAL) if and when a neutral, independently sourced article about the company is accepted through Articles for Creation. I am not requesting any other links, and none for use as citations or in article body text.

Background: I have reviewed the COIBot record at m:User:COIBot/XWiki/shuftipro.com. I understand the domain was blacklisted following inappropriate link additions in 2018 by accounts connected to the company; those links were removed at the time and the report is marked stale. The domain is not on the global (Meta) blacklist, only the English Wikipedia local one. That past conduct was wrong and will not be repeated.

COI / paid disclosure: Per WP:COI and WP:PAID, I disclose that I am connected to Shufti, the company that owns this domain, and am posting on its behalf using a single, openly identified account. Full disclosure is on my user page. I will not add the link myself; any edit would go through a talk-page edit request.

I understand this will likely be placed on hold until the draft is accepted into mainspace, and I will return to update this thread once it is. Thank you.

    Whitelist request: organiser.org (homepage)

    [edit]

Link requested to be whitelisted: Link requested to be whitelisted: organiser.org/about-us/

Article the link would be used in: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh

organiser.org is the website of Organiser (magazine), which is a weekly newspaper that acts as a mouthpiece of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). It is appropriate for Wikipedia's article on the RSS to have links the the RSS's publications.

I assume that it must also be whitelisted for Organiser (magazine) because there is a link to it in the infobox of that article. Please can someone check that it is also whitelisted for Organiser (magazine).-- Toddy1 (talk) 19:57, 17 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

The background to this request is that until 17 June the article on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) had a list of RSS publications in the bibliography section. Then an editor accidentally deleted this list whilst reorganising the bibliography. He/she has acknowledged that the deletion was an accident on the article talk page. I restored most of the list, but I had to comment out the organiser.org link because of the edit filter. Hence this request.-- Toddy1 (talk) 17:18, 18 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
@Toddy1: per MediaWiki talk:Spam-whitelist/Common_requests#The_official_homepage_of_the_subject_of_a_page, we would need an about-page or a full url (including an index.htm) of the index page. Can you please provide a suitable link? --Dirk Beetstra T C 20:39, 20 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Big Computer Games: Enhanced Edition page

    [edit]

Hello. This is the official page and storefront for Big Computer Games: Enhanced Edition (ISBN 1387853988), the current (since 2010) edition of Big Computer Games edited by David H. Ahl. Ahl is a notable person, and is notable mostly for things related to books of this kind. The book is one of a series of books edited by Ahl beginning with 101 BASIC Computer Games/BASIC Computer Games, which itself is notable and has its own page. The original 1984 edition (ISBN 0916688402) is held by major libraries: see OCLC 10914568. That edition was published by Creative Computing Publishers, the publishing imprint of a notable magazine and a fairly mainstream small press with a million-selling title (BASIC Computer Games) to its name (though Ahl was its owner!)

The link is needed mainly for BASIC Computer Games, so that it can provide the appropriate link as part of a (hopefully-)full listing of books in the BASIC Computer Games series. It might possibly also appear on pages like David H. Ahl or Creative Computing (magazine) at some point. RW Dutton (talk) 22:50, 22 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Updated: I request the whitelisting of both the hardcover and the softcover link, though either one would be much better than nothing. Lulu doesn't seem to provide a format-agnostic page covering both editions, as far as I can tell. Also whitelisting Ahl's author page on Lulu and the entries for his other Lulu book would be ideal, as it might save further ceremony later, but those links are not essential to this request.
