Article needs to be split (disambiguated)

[edit]

Article currently umbrellas distinct technical uses of the term vyuha in Sanskrit. The various uses included here are not historically or doctrinally related as far as I know and when used in a specific field (military science vs theology) then it needs to be separated. Unless someone here can provide some evidence that the military formations described in the Mahabharata and the pancharatra and vaishnav use (chaturvyuha) are related developments of a single doctrine, then IMO it would be best to make a disambiguation page titled Vyuha with separate entries for military formations and theological doctrine.

coming back to update my own opinion after doing some research - Dennis Hudson in his Body of God, has actually compared the military use to the religious vaishnav use - since this academic source actually relates 2 otherwise seemingly unrelated meanings of the word Vyuha, it probably ought to be in the lead.
