GA concerns

I am concerned that this article no longer meets the good article criteria. Some of my concerns are listed below:

There is uncited text throughout the article
The article relies upon block quotes in some sections. This creates copyright concerns and makes the prose more difficult to read and understand. I recommend that this text is summarised instead.
The "In popular culture" section is written with one- or two-sentence paragraphs, making this seem like a list. This should be better organised with larger paragraphs.

The Mount of Goddess Kali has been mentioned as Lion which is incorrect. Lion is the Mount of Goddess Durga. The actual Mount of Goddess Kali is Jackal. Please Change Lion to Jackal. Ssbaidya (talk) 18:17, 21 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
