Canada

[edit]

Why is Canada listed AFTER francophone Africa? Eh? 66.97.20.206 (talk) 00:01, 19 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

New OIF Report

[edit]

Hi, there is a new report by the OIF studying French usage in the world and the distribution of French speakers. You can access it here: https://www.francophonie.org/ressources?type=394&theme=All. I tried to incorporate some of this info, but unclear if we want a different source to update the header and other info. This info can also be used in other pages (geographic distribution of French speakers, African French, etc.). Joiedevivre123321 (talk) 23:23, 28 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

There is no such thing as "Indian French", much like saying "British French" and "Japanese Chinese"

[edit]

"Indian French" never formed as a dialect. There is an "Indian English" which is a true English dialect and language dialect of India whose language is of foreign origin. Please change this and remove that. ~2026-32705-16 (talk) 00:17, 24 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]
