This article Asian relations with Northeast India should not exist, Northeast India or any state can not have direct foreign relations under the law. It comes across as nuisance or coattail to hang some agenda. It must be merged with Foreign relations of India and speedy deleted.

Change the statement that Bangladesh is 'considered as one of India's closest' to empty (i.e., remove it) because:

1. India harbors Sheikh Hasina, whom the Bangladeshi government is against 2. Bangladeshi militias have often called for an invasion of Indian territories 3. The source given for this (reference 65) is old and predates the 2024 July Revolution in Bangladesh which outsed the previous Indian-allied government Parthpandey2030 (talk) 21:05, 4 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Please detail the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. ScrubbedFalcon (talk) 13:26, 10 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Why hasn't the article been merged in Foreign relations of India

[edit]

When the outcome of the above discussion was to merge the article, why hasn't it been done? If this article remains, tomorrow someone might make an article on "Andaman and Nicobar relations with ASEAN" or "Kerala's relation with Gulf" — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2026-21460-02 (talk) 14:53, 11 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@~2026-21460-02 because nobody has done it yet. You can perform the merge yourself if you want! It's really easy if you follow the instructions. FaviFake (talk) 23:35, 30 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
