Treaty of San Francisco, article 14 questions

[edit]

I started a discussion at Talk:Treaty_of_San_Francisco#Article_14_and_the_disposition_of_property:_amounts_and_agreements, in case anyone is interested. Topics include 20-year-old unsourced tables, status of agreements implementing a non-self-executing treaty article, and the format of intellectual property rights post-treaty. Article titles: "visit" vs. "state visit"

[edit]

There is a whole enchilada of types of visits, see "state visit". I'd like to have a generic community decision whether we need to be nitpicking in article titles? (e.g., 2024 visit by Vladimir Putin to China vs. 2024 state visit by Vladimir Putin to China ). See Talk:2024 visit by Vladimir Putin to China and a number of other page moves suggested by user The Account 2. --Altenmann >talk 21:10, 20 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

PS. Do I need a WP:RFC for this? --Altenmann >talk 21:15, 20 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for bringing this into discussion. My worry was that having some state visits under just "visit" while having others as "state visit" might create confusion for readers. I feel like ideally, there should be a consistent standard for articles about a foreign leader's visit, as Wikipedia now has more articles about these visits compared to before.
