I'm more inclined to believe that they weren't real people, or that they were real people who were mythologized.

Father Paulo Ricardo from Brazil.

I know there are better apologists than him, but he was the first to introduce me to the Catholic faith. I have a great affection for him.

"Doktor, turn off my pain inhibitors."

the misconception of man not sleeping with a child is established

What do you mean?

Is this truly the double standards that Christians believe in or was I just met with a misinformed preacher?

The simplest and most accurate answer is that marriage is defined in Orthodox Christianity as the sacramental union between a man and a woman. Any sexual act outside of marriage is a sin, therefore homosexual acts are a sin.

The first synagogue in the Americas

The first synagogue in the Americas

In 1630, the Dutch conquered portions of northeast Brazil and permitted the open practice of any religion.

Many Jews came from the Netherlands to live in Brazil in the area dominated by the Dutch. Most of them were descendants of the Portuguese Jews who had been expelled from Portugal in 1497.

In 1636, the Kahal Zur Israel Synagogue, the first synagogue in the Americas was built in Recife, the capital of Dutch Brazil. The synagogue served a community of approximately 1,450 Jews.

The Jews were forced to leave Brazil or convert when the Portuguese defeated the Dutch and retook the land in 1654. The original synagogue structure survived until the early 20th century when it was torn down. The site has been confirmed by an archaeological excavation.

In 2001 the decision was made to create a Jewish museum in the two-story house with two shops located on the first floor then standing on the site of the old synagogue.

>Isn’t that setting a standard that no human could fully meet?

Jesus looked at them and said, “For human beings this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”

Absolutely not. Don't lie! For Evangelicals and Protestants, Jesus is not God.

I'm not lying, I was a Protestant for 19 years of my life.

The dogma of the Holy Trinity was never challenged by the reformers and remains one of the most important doctrines of the Protestant denominations.

He is not for Baptists

You are simply wrong.

nor for Jehovah's Witnesses

Jehovah's Witnesses aren't Protestant or Evangelical.
