Would it be better to leave islam if I am Transgender?
Would it be better to leave islam if I am Transgender?

Hi all:

18M, I'm a revert to islam, extremely new, and ive always been intrested in islam, for as long as I could remember, only problem is that im bisexual and trans.

I always felt as though I could not revert because I am bi and trans, well, recently ive been praying salah and making dua and just speaking to Allah, and something insane happened:

I had a psychiatrist appointment already scheduled, and I had not planned to tell her that I am trans, because I am closeted in my irl due to ny family and very conservative surroundings, however, I prayed salah before I left and afterwards I made dua and said "Allah, if this is what you want for me, make it easy, let me reveal to her who I am with ease" and as i sat down in her office, I suddenly revealed it as the first thing that came up, I had planned to talk about my anxiety disorder, not that, but the whole session ended up being about that topic.

And she was very kind, she set me up for counseling to explore this without me even asking, I take it as a sign from Allah that he made me this way and I should be how I am, but the Muslim community is a vast diffrence from this experience: and so I have been contemplating leaving islam because of this, the community is so hateful towards the LGBTQ community that I don't feel safe near fellow muslims at this point, what should i do?
