T gel and endometriosis symptoms
T gel and endometriosis symptoms
Advice Needed

Hi!

So I have been on T gel (2 pumps) for 6 months. I also have endometriosis and had a hysterectomy last year to try to relieve some of the symptoms (debilitating pain in my back, abdomen, digestive tract, stomach).

I noticed that when I started the gel my life changed significantly! My pain went away completely, I was able to work out, I could eat after 5 without puking.

My voice dropped FAST, within the first two weeks it was cracking. Now I can sing Bass notes with ease and can’t sing anything above a baritone 🙈. Basically re-learning to sing. i digress…

What I noticed was when I was getting towards the end of the bottle my pain would come back a little, so I tried switching to a new one and then it went away! This happened with the next six bottles.

I contacted my doctor and we decided I’d increase to three pumps a day when I was at the bottom of the bottle in case it meant my levels were dropping.

Unfortunately I don’t get a refill for another full month so I’ve found myself not able to switch to the next bottle. 7 out of the last 9 days I’ve been puking because of the pain. I got terrible, painful acne on my face, chest, belly, scalp, shoulders, back, and now my labia. My mood has been really irritable too (but not sure if that’s just because of the state of the world).

I just got my T levels checked and they’re at 1086. I was assuming my T levels were low which is why I was feeling those endo symptoms again, but wondering if it’s because my T levels were actually high and maybe converting back to estrogen.

My doctor doesn’t seem to be worried or understand what’s happening and why I’m having this pattern of symptoms.

I can’t afford a second opinion, which is why I use FOLX to begin with. I know y’all aren’t doctors but has anyone else had similar issues and found a solution?

Ik ik, Twitter, ik.

But anyway, I saw this post where a person (@c_onfurence_0) made furry art to express how all trans body types are valid. I personally thought it was pretty nice, yk, trans men can have wide hips and that's fine, trans women can have body hair and that's fine, etc.

But I also saw a lot of backlash to it? From other trans people. Like saying "just call us the slur atp" "this is just validity slop" and stuff like that.

Can someone that has seen the post and disliked it enlighten me on the reason why? I personally don't have a clue, maybe I'm reading too little into it

EDIT: aight guys I just checked the account of the person who called it "validity slop", seems like she (I assume..) is a trans woman who calls herself a femboy. Screaming 4chan to me 😭
