Hi everyone, I am a rising freshman at UGA and I have been looking at my financial aid offer and I am the slightest bit worried about financing college. I have received ~ $7500 in external scholarships as well as the Pell Grant and HOPE Scholarship, but I still don’t think my family can afford to send me to school. If you guys can share any advice about finding more scholarships and/or getting more financial aid from the school, please let me know. I want to avoid taking out a loan completely, but also don’t want finances to completely deter me from pursuing higher education.

Hey! Most of my first classes of the week in the Fall will be on North campus, and I’m an undergraduate commuter. so far my waitlist is W05 Hull Street, N02 Oconee Street, W17 Broad Street, E01 IM deck, and North deck (in that order). Thoughts? My first classes for Tues/Thurs/Fri start at 8am, and Mon/Wed around noon. I know priority for us is super low in basically everything, so I’m worried I won’t get a spot but I really don’t want to have to get a parking spot in East campus again (I put IM deck just out of caution since it would be better than nothing).
