General Questions/Discussions

Hi everyone, I know this post may sound weird. But I'm a rising junior. However, I don’t have any friends here. I know some people, they also know me. That's it - nothing much. When I started my freshman year, I was excited about making friends, enjoying college life, and doing great academically. I always feel bad about my situation. I tried a lot - joining clubs, approaching others to do homework together, trying to talk to people who sit next to me (after/before classes), etc. Nothing worked.

At this point, I'm genuinely frustrated. I wish I could end up somehow else. I sometimes think it might be due to my socio-economic background or probably my ability to impress others. I have always been trying to make friends.

It's summer before I start my junior year. And I don’t wanna end up graduating with zero friends. I would appreciate any kind of advice from you all (especially from someone who face/faced similar issues at Northwestern). The more I think about it, the more I become frustrated and depressed.
