Why is the Jordanian annexation of West bank after 1949 never criticized?
Why is the Jordanian annexation of West bank after 1949 never criticized?
Short Question/s

There is something many divulgators of the conflict avoid to explain.

After 1949 theere was an armistice line, the famous Green Line, that still comprosed a large portion of Judea and Samaria in the originally intended arab portion of the Partition.

So i assume that the Palestinian arabs should have had their state in the West Bank, but I have read that soon after the area was more or less formally annexed to Jordan according to the strange formula of the "sacred custody"

I wonder why the leaders of the arab palestinians had not protested at least formally this decision, because UN wanted an indipendent arab Palestine and not a larger Jordan.

As a matter of facts, it was only in 1988 that the jordanian king renounced the "sacred custody" of Judea and Samaria, for nearly 40 years the palestinians de facto were forbidden to have their state by Jordan

Genocide case falling apart at ICJ
Genocide case falling apart at ICJ

I thought it is worth mentioning since there was so much attention when this case was filed that South Africa's case has fallen apart in the ICJ. They needed many more months (22 rather than just 4) to respond to all the details in Israel's response. Likely South Africa is going to wait this out and quietly drop the case. Given a fair trial with Israel doing the ground work they are winning.

It isn't phrased this way. But I'll note that South Africa during the war repeatedly demanded lower standards of evidence because things were so clear cut and urgent. Now they prove they don't have the evidence they claimed to. Neither do countries that went along with them like Ireland.

This raises several points:

  1. The Zionists on this sub who defended against the slander regarding genocide were right. War crimes yes. What I've called lazy, sloppy and cruel: yes. Genocide: no.

  2. Israel can win when they try. Structurally, Israel has been crippling itself by centering everything on Netanyahu. Israel has a first world information economy, Israelis please please use it. Note this win.

  3. The level of bad faith of Israel's critics. South Africa owes Israel a tremendous apology as does much of the online left. I wish there could be reverse damages at the ICJ. South Africa and Ireland should be paying a ton of damages for perjury.

  4. The media's level of unfairness. The case was covered all over the place the fact that it is falling apart hasn't gotten 1% of that coverage.

I can't find the links to the filings. I know we had them on the sub in some post so if someone has them and you reply to this post with them I'll edit to include the filings. The Israeli one is quite long and detailed.

Why is harassment towards Israeli citizens normalised and glorified in the name of Palestine?

Discussion

I recently saw this in my Instagram feed and coincidentally saw this when I saw this same video come in my reddit home page through one palestine sub which idk how it happened cuz I never visited it.

Either way, in the video, the pro-palestine supporters asked the couple if they're from there (seeing some tattoo) and when they tried to dodge it by saying it's difficult and clearly looked uncomfortable and the video makers then asked if they knew arabic and when the guy replied they knew hebrew, they immediately assumed it's Israeli citizens and started saying wild stuff even though the couple genuinely did nothing in the entire video to provoke such a reaction and kept harassing, yelling and publically shaming them for no reason by name-calling and accusations of being murderers, monsters, savages, worthless animals, and even going as far as saying they deserved to d*e and not stopping even when asked by the couple to shut up, that they heard their opinion and to leave them be and the harassers only increased their efforts until the couple had to move away while being yelled at that no one likes them and they'll be hated no matter where they go.

The comment section was vile. Instead of maybe saying that this behaviour is unacceptable and that harassing and brigading normal people from a country won't do anything as they're not responsible for what the State they are citizens of is doing (not even getting into the fact if it's right/wrong), both in reddit and instagram I saw the disturbing trend of actually supporting the ones harassing and screaming, and even suggesting more demeaning and dehumanising gestures towards the couple and that they "deserve to be shamed/made uncomfortable wherever they go" etc and kept calling the ones who were the aggressors as queens and they ate etc.

I just don't get it? These people proclaim to be peace seekers and want the best of humanity but consistently act anti-jewish and show the worst side of humanity.

Arabic isn't even the native language of judea, but hebrew is. Palestine genuinely means nothing in Arabic and has no meaning cuz its origins are from the European side.

This isn't related to the war but rather why does this behaviour get rewarded instead of being called out as wrong and malicious?
