Hi everyone,
I recently applied to Ross University School of Medicine and have a scheduled admissions decision call in 3 days. I’m trying to understand how Ross decides between Direct MD admission, MedOrigin, and MERP.
My stats are:
MCAT: 498
Undergraduate GPA: 3.15
Master’s GPA: 3.67 (Biomedical Sciences)
About 1,200 hours of clinical experience as a nurse aide
U.S. citizen
I was told my admissions decision would be discussed during a scheduled phone call, and I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar experience.
For those who were accepted to Ross:
What were your MCAT and GPA stats? Please try to share since it anonymous
Were you offered Direct MD, MedOrigin, or MERP?
Did Ross schedule a phone call to give you the decision, or was it sent by email?
Based on my stats, would you expect Direct MD, MedOrigin, or MERP?
Do you know anyone with a 495-500 MCAT who was still placed into MedOrigin or MERP?
I’m trying to figure out what is most likely before the call. Any insight from current students or recent admits would be greatly appreciated.
Ross

Hey everyone! Just curious, about how much in total have you spent on travel during medical school (away rotations, conferences, etc)? Did you typically stay alone, with classmates, or with roommates you found elsewhere? Trying to get an idea on how much people have to spend out of pocket
