Consider placing {{Being deleted}} on the template page.

Please list the actual template (or for batch nominations, all the individual templates) to be processed below, not merely a link to the discussion. This helps volunteers working on this page notice overlapping work. Do not remove or add new section headings as that will break XFDcloser.

Tools

There are several tools that can help when implementing TfDs. Some of these are listed below.

Template linking and transclusion check – Toolforge tool to see which pages are transcluded but not linked from or to a template
WhatLinksHereSnippets.js – user script that allows for template use to be viewed from the Special:WhatLinksHere page
AutoWikiBrowser – semi-automatic editor that can replace or modify templates using regular expressions
Bots – robots editing automatically. All tasks have to be approved before operating. There are currently three bots with general approval to assist with implementing TfD outcomes:
- AnomieBOT – substituting templates via User:AnomieBOT/TFDTemplateSubster
- SporkBot – general TfD implementation run by Plastikspork
- PrimeBOT – general TfD implementation run by Primefac
- ProcBot – purging transclusions via User:ProcBot/PurgeList

@Voorts: can you clarify you intention/decision with this close? Should transclusions simply be removed? Should they be converted to some new format? Would love to help clear this backlog but not really clear how to resolve these ones... Should they simply be converted to {{cite web}} with |url-status=dead? Any guidance would be appreciated! Gonnym, recognising that I haven't dived too deeply into this template, I'm not entirely sure where to start as far as conversion goes. Where are the translit values you gave at the TFD coming from? If I have (for example) a call like {{Lang-mnc|m={{ManchuSibeUnicode|lang=mnc|ᠠᠯᡳᡥᠠ<br />ᠠᠮᠪᠠᠨ}} |v=aliha amban|a=aliha amban}} what will the replacement look like? @Zackmann08: That is correct. Make those types of edits, and once GraphBot has been restarted, it will automatically do the conversions. To substitute

Templates for which the consensus is that all instances should be substituted (e.g. the template should be merged with the article or is a wrapper for a preferred template) are put here until the substitutions are completed. After this is done, the template is deleted from template space.

These templates are to be deleted, but may still be in use on some pages. Transclusions should be removed from pages so that the templates can be deleted. Note that simple references to them from Talk: pages should not be removed.

For many of these transclusions, the template in question is the only content on the page (see Template:Editnotices/Page/Racism in Palestine for example). So should those just be tagged for deletion? Those are questions for Izno.
While I'm here, I don't have any objections to the deletion of the COVID editnotice. On the other hand, the Arab–Israeli ("PIA") and GMO editnotices are called directly from the generic {{contentious topics/page restriction editnotice}}. In most WP:CTOPs, admins set restrictions on a page-by-page basis. In the GMO and PIA topic areas, ArbCom has imposed a blanket WP:1RR (and in PIA, WP:ECR) across the entire topic. The two hardcoded templates account for these topic-wide restrictions. They are treated differently because they are different from all other contentious topics.
