Information icon Hello, I'm Sid95Q. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Saam Daam Dand Bhed have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Please see Wikipedia:Article titles Sid95Q (talk) 13:09, 3 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source, as you did on Kashmir Sultanate, Mughal Kashmir and Kingdom of Kashmir (1754-1762). Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. --WareWolf665 (talk) 20:16, 27 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]

I have backed my claims with sources. I can give them again to verify. Youtile carol (talk) 20:40, 27 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
The source you cited is not WP:RS compliant as author K. S. Lal has been discredited by several contemporary scholars, especially due to anti-Muslim bias in his later works. Moreover, the source doesn't even mention "Shaivite Hinduism" anywhere, hence it cannot be added per WP:NOR. If you have a better source, use that instead. WareWolf665 (talk) 21:12, 27 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
K.S Lal's source was citied in wikipedia itself at the page Buddhism in Kashmir and K.S Lal only quouted what was written by the Sultan Butshikan's scribe. If anything the source is WP:RS. Youtile carol (talk) 07:39, 28 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Being cited on another page does not automatically mean a source is reliable, especially when there is no prior consensus on its addition. Also read the 2nd part of my first reply. Regards WareWolf665 (talk) 09:18, 28 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Shavite Hinduism is literally another name for Shaivism,a sect of Hinduism. Youtile carol (talk) 09:22, 28 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't matter, it cannot be added unless you can cite a better historian who specifically states the religion was practiced in these 3 eras/within the domains of these 3 polities.
Avoid edit-warring in the future, otherwise I will have no option but to report you. Regards WareWolf665 (talk) 13:48, 28 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
If there is any dispute between two users can use WP:3O to solve said dispute. However you are threatning me with a report. You are violating WP:NPA and WP:HARASS and you account will get banned. Youtile carol (talk) 14:18, 28 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
WP:3O is relevant only when there is a genuine dispute, which is not the case here. You are simply failing to cite a RS and I'm stopping you from adding any info without it, which is standard procedure. I also did not get personal anywhere so neither of those policies apply. I am going to end this conversation here, as I have already made everything clear several times. WareWolf665 (talk) 16:49, 28 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
I respect your decision. Let's agree to disagree. Youtile carol (talk) 17:06, 28 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Also can you please refer to where in wikipedia was K.S Lal mentioned as a biased source? Youtile carol (talk) 10:08, 28 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
You can read about it here. WareWolf665 (talk) 13:43, 28 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
This is not a way wikipedia distinguishes sources. For eg:- In the Indo-Pak conflict of 2025 local sources were not allowed to be used when it was done through a relevent process. Wikipedia also cities CNN as a biased sorce yet many wikipedia articles use it.
Also the source I cited mentions Buddhists not Muslims. It is a fact that Buddhism went extinct by the 15th century in Kashmir. Youtile carol (talk) 14:11, 28 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Clearly, you are not aware of the WP:RS policy so give it a thorough read. If you still insist on using K. S. Lal, I suggest taking this to the Wiki reliable sources notice board and discuss it there. Regards WareWolf665 (talk) 16:56, 28 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
