The comment the reviewer left was:
I'm not convinced this meets the notability requirements; the only sources are a primary source and 3 links to the CWGC, which don't establish notability. Pretty much every single town and villiage in the UK has at least one WW1 memorial so it would need to be specifically notable in order to publish.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Using the MOS

[edit]

Hello. Please could you take a look at WP:MOS, in particular with relation to the use of sub=headings. Also take a look at WP:UKCITIES when you get a chance please. The addition of lists of names on war memorials would seem to not be notable per WP:NOT as well. I don't think they're necessary at all; please stop adding them Blue Square Thing (talk) 16:23, 18 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure whether you've read this or not, so let me expand.
  • please stop adding war memorial tables to settlements. The level of detail you're adding is simply not notable. The existence of a war memorial is fine, particularly if it is listed; very brief details about how many people are listed on it or any significant events that are memorialised on it, yes, that's probably also notable. But every name is not notable. If you disagree, discuss it, but please stop adding this data
  • in the WP:MOS we specify that section headings use sentence case – see specifically MOS:HEAD. So it would be Notable people, not Notable People. Please stop capitalising. It increases work for other editors cleaning up your work
  • also per the MOS, we have decided over many years that we write either thirteenth century or 13th century, not Thirteenth Century – see specifically MOS:CENTURY. Again, it's taking work cleaning up the MOS issues you keep on introducing
  • WP:UKCITIES provides a structure for articles that we should follow and provides a range of advice and useful tips. In particular:
  • Notable people as a subheading, rather than Notable residents please
  • The order of sections – in particular Governance, but see below
  • Demographics – but see below
  • Landmarks
  • We don't always need short sections. Sometimes they can be combined or information included in the lead. There are times when you're duplicating information or splitting in to sections where it's unnecessary to do so
  • The Governance sections you're including are probably unnecessary, especially where they're simply copying data from the infobox. There needs to be sourcing. I'd also very strongly suggest not including the name of the current MP or their party. These things change and you can bet that no one will come along when there's a new election to change the data
  • You're linking to North Norfolk rather than to North Norfolk (UK Parliament constituency)
All of this adds to the work of other editors, correcting MOS issues, removing non-notable content and dealing with errors. Please make sure you've read the links I've provided. If you have any questions or disagree with me, now's the chance to discuss this
One last suggestions. Read Wormshill. That's bee a featured article since 2008. When I'm in any doubt about what to do in a village article it's where I check Blue Square Thing (talk) 10:24, 28 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
