Re: Gwen hook
[edit source]We specifically chose not to use this wording.[1] You can see the DYK discussion on the nom page where a new hook was proposed, passed, and promoted without the wording you added back in.[2] In other words this grammar is perfectly acceptable: "Did you know that Gwen went viral in 2025 due to the way she ate one of her country's most beloved street foods?" - @Viriditas: Thanks for letting me know. I have reverted my change as requested. — RAVENPVFF · talk · 23:48, 10 June 2026 (UTC)
Selected anniversaries: June 12
[edit source]On Selected anniversaries: June 12, the blurb "Independence Day in the Philippines (1898);" still appears to be under the "Ineligible" section when the orange tags have been removed. Please re-review the article so it will have a chance to be reconsidered as "Eligible". Thank you. ScarletViolet ★ 14:37, 11 June 2026 (UTC)

I'm not sure all readers will know what Wired is from context or prior knowledge, so I think "magazine" is a good clarifier. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 07:12, 21 June 2026 (UTC)
