ok RS Tgn (talk) 13:49, 7 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, if you want to test Wikipedia, can I suggest you experiment in your own userspace, e.g. User:RS Tgn/History of Machine Learning? Any tests in article space will be deleted. Thanks — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:06, 8 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

There is also Wikipedia:Sandbox if you want to play around — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:06, 8 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your sandbox

[edit]

Hi, a few things about your sandbox:

  • boldface is considered appropriate only for certain usages, see MOS:BOLD. In most cases in which you are using boldface you should instead put a wikilink (e.g. to Fourth Industrial Revolution)
  • you need to cite your sources with inline citations, see WP:CITE

Jaqen (talk) 14:25, 8 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, a few more things:

Hi, the first sentence should introduce the topic, and tell the reader what the subject is (MOS:LEADSENTENCE). At the moment I need to read at least a few paragraph to understand what's the topic of your article. The solution might be to transform the current lead section into an "Introduction" section, and add a lead before of that. See WP:LEAD for guidelines about how to write it. --Jaqen (talk) 09:55, 10 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

You are right professor!
Therefore, I have added a 1st paragraph introducing the topic and then I have created a new section to provide to the reader the correct understanding of the following text.
I have also inserted imagens (from Wikipedia commons) and another I have created and categorized. Also I have finished the References, External links and "See also" sections. In theory the article is ready to publish. Please help me understanding if it is all set or need any further improvement.
tks RS Tgn (talk) 10:50, 10 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, another thing: the "See also" section should only include internal links to other Wikipedia articles (see MOS:SEEALSO) and they should be formatted as wikilinks, not external links (see MOS:LINK). The additional bibliography should be placed in a section called further reading (Wikipedia:Further reading). Please check the order of the appendices in MOS:ORDER. --Jaqen (talk) 12:58, 10 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

ok. I did that. tks. RS Tgn (talk) 15:21, 10 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. The idea behind this article was to highlight the importance of applying this crucial tool as an element of increasing competitiveness in Brazilian industry. The idea was to provide an overview of how Brazilian industry has addressed this issue. We consider it extremely relevant, but if you would like to suggest changes to the approach, we are available to implement them. 5.88.29.227 (talk) 08:59, 16 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
We wouldn't like it to be deleted. Instead, suggest improvements and we'll be happy to implement them. 5.88.29.227 (talk) 09:00, 16 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
regarding the highlighted points:
items a) and b) I kindly ask you to highlighted the references are not regarding ML/AI or brazilian industry sector because we took the information direct from the sources of the references and almost all of them are about AI aplication and/or brazilian industry or its sectors.
c) Regarding government documents, e.g. "Plano IA para o Bem de Todos" and others as bills, they are all public and to improve the access to the readers I just have inserted the PDF link access to the document. Those documents talk about what brazilan government and congress plan to do to improve AI aplication in Brazil and therefore we consider extremily important to the article.
Regarding On the Brazilian Observatory for Artificial Intelligence, we have removed it and replaced for the public access article that raises the same issue about the concernings about privacy policies of AI.
I am totally avaliable to make this work. Please anallyse the response and if necessary any more improvements I am on to do it.
thanks dears for the contributions.

Hello, RS Tgn,

Please stop commenting in this AFD and bludgeoning the discussion. You are not only repeating yourself but your constant comments may cause editors not to support your position because your comments have become so irritating. You've said what you needed to say now let other editors contribute to the discussion. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 19:41, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Also, editors here have strongly negative feelings against AI and LLM so please do not use it in articles or for talk page comments. You could get editors voting against your position just because your comments look like a bot wrote them rather than a human being. Liz Read! Talk! 19:43, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Ok. Don't worry. I will not comment anymore but I just would like to highlight that the current version of the article is a brand new article. I wrote from zero with my hands and using the correct sources.I just wanted to emphazise that. Thanks for the patience. R. S. Tognetti (Hi!) (talk) 20:54, 22 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE stop adding large swaths of AI generated text. We do NOT need this. The use of LLMs to generate this article was highlighted as a serious concern at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Artificial intelligence in the Brazilian industry. I have reverted your additions/changes from today, and moved this back to draft space. If you persist in this behavior, it may eventually lead to a block. I beg of you to STOP doing this. Carefully read Wikipedia:Large language models. If you have questions, by all means ask. But, continuing as you have is NOT an option. I hope I've been clear. --Hammersoft (talk) 18:03, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I just wrote the text in word document and put the references. R. S. Tognetti (Hi!) (talk) 19:11, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Just adding an information that may help clarify. All the time to help me with the references I have asked LLM to help to put the reference information in wikipedia code. Only that. But the text it self this time and the last time I did with my hands and thoughts.
Example: ref>Almeida, E. S.; Pinheiro, R. R. G. (2022). "A relevância da indústria 4.0 para desenvolvimento do polo industrial brasileiro frente aos desafios". Brazilian Journal of Development. 8 (9). Brazilian Journal of Development: 64792–64809. doi:10.34117/bjdv8n9-289.{{cite journal}}: CS1 maint: multiple names: authors list (link)</ref
If you have some kind of tool that consider this action a problem I can put the references information with my own hands. I have no problem with that. Let me do the following: I will re-write the article, improve the content and insert the references manually, leaving the article in Draft format so you can analyze it and approve it, ok? R. S. Tognetti (Hi!) (talk) 19:17, 6 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I just rewrote the article and also added the references manually.

Explaining how this text, which is in Draft format, was created: 1) I created the structure of the sections, their topics, and the number of paragraphs for each section. 2) After that, I opened the PDFs of the sources, read the content, and extracted the idea that addresses the topic I wanted to cover. 3) I created the text in Microsoft Word using my own words, adding the source at the end of the text. 4) I copied and pasted the text from Word and pasted it into Wikipedia, manually adding the sources then. 5) I inserted the figures.

I left the file in draft format for your review. Please let me know if it now complies with the policies, because I really want to do things the right way guys.

Thank you. R. S. Tognetti (Hi!) (talk) 06:41, 7 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
