Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by JBW was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
English Wikipedia requires substantial coverage in independent reliable sources to establish notability. That purpose cannot be achieved by pages on the web site of the business or on the website of the business owning it, nor by sources which mention BrickLink but do not give substantial coverage of it, such as mere announcements of commercial acquisition, or pages substantially about a person connected to BrickLink, rather than about BrickLink itself.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Hoofdpagina (October 16)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Nathan2055 was:
All foreign languages redirects to the Main Page were previously deleted in 2015 per Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2015 August 6#Redirects to Main Page. Consensus will need to be gained elsewhere prior to recreating some or all of them. Thank you for your contributions!
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Display tabs

[edit]

Hello, I pretty much only write on the Dutch wiki, because there are no read, edit, edit source, view history and searchbar on the English wikipedia. Is it possible to enable these tabs somewhere? Or is it custom to just search through Google and mess around in the url bar just to start editing an article? Best regards, Mikalagrand (talk) 19:32, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mikalagrand, They all exist in English Wikipedia, I'm not sure how you don't see them...perhaps they aren't being translated right if you're using an autotranslate feature? But I quite clearly see the read, edit, edit source, view history, and searchbar at the top of my window (I'm on PC). CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 19:41, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'm on PC as well. Is there a setting I can toggle to enable them? They do appear on pretty much all other wikipedia versions (German, French, etc). Greetings, Mikalagrand (talk) 19:44, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I also am uncertain as to how you would not be seeing those things. You could try looking in your preferences to see if any settings are disabled. 331dot (talk) 08:07, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page Selectivity. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation dos and don'ts, you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry
    • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references

Thank you. SpinningSpark 18:40, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:47, 18 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
