Unsourced content

[edit]

Please don't ever add personal information or biographical statistics to biography articles without including a reliable source for verification, especially while using a misleading edit summary such as fixing typo".-- Ponyobons mots 00:04, 11 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This is also not a "typo".-- Ponyobons mots 00:05, 11 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Joan Armatrading, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. Graham87 (talk) 02:47, 11 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Given how freequently Wikipedia's content is copied, adding unsourced content makes it much more difficult to research the veracity of the added text in the future. Graham87 (talk) 02:47, 11 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your subsequent edit there to add a source, but please see my edit summary there. Graham87 (talk) 14:31, 11 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. livelikemusic (TALK!) 15:14, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Excuse me? I’m not doing “disruptive editing” and I resent the accusation - don’t accuse me of doing something which I haven’t done please revert your message. Midlandsbuses (talk) 15:16, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Chaserider when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Chaserider

[edit]

Good Evening,

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I appreciate the effort you're putting into the Chaserider article. Regarding your recent addition of the detailed fleet table, may I please draw your attention to the following policies:

Detailed fleet lists with individual fleet numbers, registrations, and vehicle types are generally considered routine operational data rather than encyclopedic content. Such exhaustive tables tend to turn articles into maintenance rosters or spotter guides, which goes against Wikipedia's purpose.

Thanks again for your work on the article — looking forward to your thoughts!
