Short name for Zhejiang Professional F.C.

Hi! I've been noticing that you've been shortening the name Zhejiang Professional F.C. to Zhejiang Pro, particularly in player infoboxes, which I do not agree with. English sources such as the AFC refer to club as solely "Zhejiang FC". Furthermore, when I search up "Zhejiang Pro" on Google (in quotations, so that Google will find the exact sequence of characters), Google would only give me sources from Wikipedia or unreputable sources like FC/FIFA database sites. Therefore, I do think that you should start changing your habits of abbreviating Zhejiang Professional F.C. to Zhejiang as it would be beneficial to English Wikipedia.

I wanted to raise another point - for football clubs in China which have "职业" in their name, I've only seen Dalian Professional F.C. officially use "Dalian Pro" as a valid abbreviation, and just because Dalian Pro uses it, does not mean the same syntax can be applied to all other clubs containing "职业" in their name, such as clubs like "武汉卓尔职业足球俱乐部" (Wuhan Zall F.C.) or "海南之星职业足球俱乐部" (Hainan Star F.C.) - calling these clubs "Wuhan Zall Pro" or "Hainan Star Pro" would definitely sound odd to the untrained ear of an English speaker. It definitely should not work in the case of Zhejiang.

Hi! Thank you for the suggestion and I agree that "Zhejiang Pro" is not an appropriate short name of Zhejiang Professional F.C. However, "Zhejiang" is a province name of China and people will be confused for using same name without any disambiguation, I will update the name to "Zhejiang FC", thanks. Hello there! Three more points (I apologise in advance for asking, you're doing amazing work):

1. May I ask what the factor(s) that made you use the name "Dalian Young Boy" for Dalian Yingbo F.C. persistently was/were, especially in 2025, when the club rebranded to get rid of the "Youngboy" text on its badge entirely? We had a small-volume discussion on the article's talk page on whether we should be using "Yingbo" or "Young Boy", and found that "Yingbo" was more common among English language sources.

2. Please start using en-dashes (–) over hyphens (-) for the indication of a player/manager's spell at a club by year. The use of hyphens is incorrect for this purpose.

3. Please start/restart(?) tagging pages with the appropriate categories, especially after a player transfer, which seems to be the main work you're doing.

Tl;dr, if there are three administrative units describing in a geographic place, only link the smallest location (the first place name) if and only if the first place is contained within the second place. Per discussion for reserve teams, only place the tooltip note if a player as previous gone on loan at another club immediately prior to joining its B team. For example, Peng Xiao would not require a tooltip, but Liu Baiyang would require one.

Hello again!

Hello! This is just to inform you that I have reverted all your edits removing the provincial subdivision of Sichuan from the city of Chongqing for players born before 18 June 1997. Chongqing was a de jure prefectural-level city before the aforementioned date, and shall be treated as such for players born before 18 June 1997 to reflect the city's status during the period.

Birth dates in infoboxes should not reflect the status quo of a populated place, but the historical status at the time at which the event occurred. This is why you see Igor Akinfeev's birth place saying the Soviet Union or even that of Li Bai saying "China" when his birth place is in modern-day Kyrgyzstan.
