Information icon Hello, I'm Padgriffin. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Tri-West Hendricks High School have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Tri-West Hendricks High School. Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see the Introduction to Wikipedia, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, place Help me on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Tri-West Hendricks High School was changed by Jackson JM (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.903401 on 2026-03-24T15:31:43+00:00

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you believe that there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: or use the unblock wizard.  ... discospinster talk 17:24, 1 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The following request was written through the unblock wizard.
Can you explain, in your own words, what you were blocked for?
I was blocked for putting misinformation on the "Lye" article
If unblocked, what edits would you make and what (if applicable) would you do differently?
I would make truthful edits on documents that I have credible knowledge and sources on. What I would do differently is I would not use Wikipedia for my own personal use.
Is there anything else that may be helpful to your unblock request?
I do sincerely apologize for my actions and if my unblock request is approved I will never repeat them.

"I was blocked for putting misinformation on the "Lye" article" -- no, you were blocked because every one of your edits is vandalism. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 18:20, 5 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I was blocked in the first place because every edit I made was categorized as vandalism. I realize what I have done is wrong and I am now ready to help edit articles for the better. I do apologize sincerely for my actions. Jackson JM (talk) 18:28, 9 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance if you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked, you need to demonstrate and confirm that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia.

After you have read the rules, pick any article on Wikipedia that you want to improve. If you have trouble choosing an article, there are lists under Category:Articles needing cleanup.

Once you have decided on the article you will propose improvements to:

  1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
  2. Copy three or four paragraphs of the article that you want to improve.
    • Do not copy the infobox (...).
    • Do not copy any images or files ().
    • Do not copy the article's categories from the bottom of the page ().
    • Do not copy the stub tag (Topic name stub).
  3. Click edit on your talk page and create a new section using this format: == Article title ==. Paste the text that you copied underneath. Do not save yet.
  4. Place reflist-talk at the end of the copied text.
  5. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and create an edit summary in the following format: Copied content from Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution.
  6. Save the page by clicking Publish changes.
  7. Edit the section you have copied. Propose adding new information to the article. Add inline citations to reliable sources that verifies the information. We are not looking for basic typo corrections or small additions without citations.
  8. When you are done with your work, save your edits. Then create a new unblock request using and an administrator will review your proposed edits.

If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may ask a question on this talk page. Just place Help me with your question below it, then add your signature using ~~~~. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 18:40, 9 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed edit

[edit]

I would like to change the first aid section on the lye wikipedia page from

“When a person has been exposed to lye, sources recommend immediate removal of contaminated clothing/materials, gently brushing/wiping excess off of skin, and then flushing the area of exposure with running water for 15–60 minutes as well as contacting emergency services.”

to

When a person has been exposed to lye, sources recommend immediate removal of contaminated clothing/materials, gently brushing/wiping excess off of skin, and then flushing the area of exposure with running water for 15–60 minutes without stopping even if the pain is gone, as all lye that had not been removed will continue to damage tissue. Some articles suggest that vinegar should be used on the contaminated spot DO NOT DO THIS, adding vinegar to the spot will only make it worse. Emergency services should be called immediately as well.

Request reason:

I sent an unblock request earlier today I hope I am not resending to quickly, but the other request was denied and I was told to make a list of proposed edits to prove that I can be trusted I have made two proposed edits in my talk page that I would like to make if I get unblocked. Thankyou for your time, and yet again I hope I am not bombarding you with two requests in a day. Jackson JM (talk) 23:26, 9 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Your proposed edits are not impressive. As CoffeeCrumbs notes your Lye source is commercial, which we generally don't use. Your second edit adds details which I am not convinced should be added to the lead section. PhilKnight (talk) 15:18, 11 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

While I can't judge whether or not these edits are good enough evidence of your ability to make edits (and administrator will do that), there are a couple things you should consider with these edits.

On the first one, can you find a better source for additional information on treatment for a minor medical emergency than a company that sells Santa Bells and accessories?

On the second one, the purpose of the introduction is to summarize content within the body of the article. There is a whole section describing the specific topic of this being Titanic's maiden voyage. Could you detail why adding Belfast as the start of the maiden voyage would better reflect the material in that section?

Best of luck to you in this and any future edits! CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 00:41, 10 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The following request was written through the unblock wizard.
Can you explain, in your own words, what you were blocked for?
I was blocked for repeated vandalism towards the platform.
If unblocked, what edits would you make and what (if applicable) would you do differently?
Edits to the titanic and Lye pages.
Is there anything else that may be helpful to your unblock request?
I have an unblock request that has all of the information that is usually filled in before this box and it has been reviewed by an admin which took it off the log to be reviewed but it was neither accepted or denied and due to my block setting I can not communicate with administrators on Wikipedia any way besides sending unblock requests so I am sending this one so the request that was put off the log gets reviewed. Thank you for your time.

Request reason:

I was blocked permanently for repeated vandalism and since then I have sent many requests to get unblocked. Today I am sending one last request I hope you see that I want to make wikipedia a better place now. Thank you for your time. Jackson JM (talk) 19:13, 20 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You were offered a path to getting unblocked and failed to follow that path. Given your prior edits, this unblock request pretty compellingly argues you need to remain blocked. Yamla (talk) 13:03, 21 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
