British Reality series, The Farm

[edit]

He appeared in the British reality TV series The Farm, something on this should be added.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.108.243.57 (talkcontribs) 20:52, 3 May 2005

Wrestler

[edit]

According to the juggalo championship wrestling page, he wrestler with them, which I think is just funny, but should probably be included somewhere.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.206.35.35 (talkcontribs) 08:29, 7 July 2006

Rebranded image

[edit]

Someone should edit the part about the balcony incident.

from http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/discussion/2006/02/16/DI2006021601769.html?nav=nsc:

"Did you or did you not get dangled off the balcony by Suge Knight. Let's get the truth.

Vanilla Ice: No. I did not. It was kind of funny -- when they take a little bit of truth in the media. If it's not exciting, they polish it up a bit. I was on the balcony and had signed over a lot of contractual money to him and felt like I did the right thing. In a weird way, he was nice but firm with me. He took me to the balcony and talked to me... but it's funny how the story gets turned around... I'm wondering how that story got changed around."

There is an orange "more sources needed" banner at the top of the "Band members" section. Other sections, such as "Awards" and "Filmography" are also uncited. IMDB is used as a source in the article which should be removed, and Youtube/Amazon sources should be checked to ensure they are appropriate to use. There are uncited statements in the article. breaking down barriers

[edit]

The intro paragraph currently has this sentence:

He is credited with breaking down racial barriers in rap and hip-hop for future white rappers, most notably Eminem.

There are two citations for this. The first does not at any point credit him with breaking down racial barriers for white rappers; the closest is a discussion of how white rock and roll musicians "wrested rock ‘n’ roll away from the music’s black founders in the ‘50s and ‘60s". The majority of the article is highly dismissive of Mr. Ice's musical talents. The second contains a quotation by Vanilla Ice giving himself credit for "carv[ing] a way" for white rappers.

These sources seem like thin evidence that Mr. Ice is widely credited as a pioneering trailblazer for white rappers.

I suggest revising or removing that sentence. ~2026-32497-85 (talk) 11:21, 31 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
