Unsourced edits
[edit]We have long-term persistent unsourced changes being made to this article to classify him as a businessman, and also link him to a royal family, so I've done a quick search... (NB: sources have been provided but they did not support the content in relation to this article.)
Saeed Hatteea worked for Marks & Spencer (various roles), Kingfisher/Woolworths (merchandise director),[1] Yours Clothing (chairman). He had a relationship with Kim Winser, who also worked at M&S at the time; they have a son, Omar.[2] However, this needs reliable sources to categorically confirm the cricketer as the same person before being added to this article.
Nothing found regarding royalty. wjematherplease leave a message... 11:31, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- His business career is not notable. It doesn't seem to merit mention in this article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:09, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Biographies should cover all aspects of the individual without giving undue weight to those that are of minor significance. I've just noticed that one of the sources in the article (that I added during the AFD) does cover some of this, so will add some prose later. wjematherplease leave a message... 13:22, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Some found on 'Royalpedia', but nothing of significance. Thenightscribe (talk) 15:52, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
- And obviously not a reliable source. wjematherplease leave a message... 18:52, 21 December 2024 (UTC)

Discussion
[edit]This discussion is intended to clarify the subject's business career within the article. If any issues arise, please provide specific feedback on the areas of concern. Additionally, suggestions for improvement should be offered in a way that fosters constructive revisions, avoiding any potential conflicts. Thenightscribe (talk) 22:40, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
I have made further revisions, including more accurate citations related to the subject's business career, to improve overall accuracy. Additionally, I have made some minor detail adjustments. I hope these changes are adequate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thenightscribe (talk • contribs) 23:10, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
Article Improvement
[edit]In response to notability concerns under Wikipedia’s guidelines for Biographies of Living Persons, I’ve restructured the article to reflect both the subject’s cricket and business careers, highlighting key leadership roles. Section headings and an officeholder infobox have been added. Constructive contributions are welcome. Lexiconia (talk) 2:45, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
- Your edits have added a lot of the unsourced information, examples: "Hatteea was raised in a prosperous family", "He relocated during his childhood, to the family’s home in Kensington", "he held several senior executive roles across the UK, Canada, the United States, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe." and the whole last paragraph has no correlation with the sources. The information within the infobox you've added is also unsourced. WP:BLP states: Contentious material about living persons (or, in some cases, recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—must be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion. so I've reverted your edits. --JP (Talk) 08:08, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for pointing this out. Upon review, I realise I misread some of the sources and relied too much on inference. I will revise the content accordingly, ensuring that only clearly stated information is included. If you notice any other issues, I would be grateful if you could make the necessary changes. Many thanks! Lexiconia (talk) 10:26, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
- Please also note that in addition to your additions being largely unsupported by the sources, sentences like this are terrible:
"A right-arm fast-medium bowler, he was CEO..."
(being a bowler of any description is completely unrelated and separate fact), detail of company holdings is fluff (give the impression of trying to make the subject sound more important/notable than they are), the categories added (Business-related lists, Executives by company) are not appropriate, etc. wjematherplease leave a message... 10:34, 11 June 2025 (UTC)- Understood. I’ll follow your advice when making the changes. Thank you for pointing this out and for your help. Lexiconia (talk) 10:53, 11 June 2025 (UTC)

Improvements and additions
[edit]No content has been removed; instead, it has been restructured for clarity. Additional sourced information regarding the subject's role as Managing Director has been added, along with minor contextual corrections and formalities. Tadpole Moss (talk) 21:37, 17 July 2025 (UTC)
- Additional iterations made - the infobox has been changed to accurately reflect the subject’s occupation. Other information including his residence and incumbent term date start has been pulled from companies house and referenced adequately. Tadpole Moss (talk) 17:41, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
- Spelling corrections, detail iterations and structural improvements. Some of the above information has now been formatted correctly to match the layout of infobox already installed. Tadpole Moss (talk) 19:37, 23 July 2025 (UTC)
