Transliteration correction on the name "Lvihorod"

The name Lvihorod uses modern Ukrainian style transliteration for a name that existed before the spilt of OES languages. It should either be written as Lviǧorod or Lviǧord (городъ) (according to current OES transliteration, I'm not entirely sure about the correct transliteration of anything else there as I can't even find any historical writings that mention it by name. I also think the sentence "which is consistent with names of other Ukrainian cities" should be removed as that was standard practice in both Rus and most of Europe and it adds nothing to the article. nazwa "Lvihorod" użyta przez Zimorowicza była po prostu przepisaniem nazwy jaką Zimorowicz słyszał od rusko-języcznych mieszkańców miasta z prostego powodu: ukraińskie "g" wymawia się jako "h" - i to tyle co do zagadki o nazwie miasta .W latpisie halicko-wołyńśkim nazwa Lwowa to "Lviw" bez przyrostka "gorod". Polish Chauvinism

Please, don't use in article "native" name of the city in Polish, refering to Lviv. Lviv is Ukrainian city, and should have Ukrainian transliteration, moreover Polish name of the city, it's not historically "native" name, considering it was founded by the Ruthenian king. You don't add German names for Polish cities, because once they were part of Germany. It's English article about Ukrainian city, that must have only Ukrainian transliteration, other transliterations are just redundant here. Where's moderation? Why must it have anything Ukranian, being an English article? There's no such rule for names. Are you demanding that Ukraine be called Ukraina in English? Perhaps Ukrainians, in turn, will call England, well, England? Ridiculous. ~2025-39295-70 (talk) 01:14, 9 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Zamki w średniowiecznym Lwowie

nie wiem w oparciu o jakie dane zródłowe autorzy tej strony opisu historii Lwowa pod ilustracją z zamkiem wybudowanym już w czasach Kazimierza III podają że "Zamek Wysoki, pierwotnie zbudowany w 1250 roku przez Leona I Halickiego , a przebudowany w 1362 roku przez Kazimierza III (ryc. A. Gogenberga, XVII wiek). NIE MA ŻADNEGO DOWODU poza "lokalną tradycją na którą powołali się zarówna Alnbek,Gruneweeg jak i ZImorowicz, Por.w tej kwestii zarówno wykonane przez Czołowskiego i Szaraniewicza mapki obrwzujące kształt ówczesnego Grodu. W rzeczywistości na tej górze pp.stała wiża wartownicza" co miała by potwierdzać jej pierwotna (?) nazwa :BUDELNICA = budzik.
