How musically authoritative are ANN? I'm not against adding symphonic metal to the template in general, but I think it's too small to define the genre of an entire single as symphonic metal based on one non-musical source. Especially when the producers and musicians themselves describe themselves as heavy/gothic. Solaire the knight (talk) 07:27, 13 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The second source copies the page from ANN word for word. As for the interview, I don't know. In it, their sound is called gothic metal and heavy metal several times, only once the interviewer talks about gothic orchestral sound and the producer seems to confirm their status as a gothic symphonic metal band. Well, I think for now you can add symphonic metal to the main article template as a suggestion from one of the band's music writers, but for the single page, I still think we should add heavy metal to the template as well.
