Source reliabity
[edit]Recently, specific people have been removing information in the other countries part. The source that had been added was from the polish website ESC Spot. The article was for the non confirmation of Lithuania and Norway. But, it was strange that other fan media/news source had not published their articles about it.When I edited it for clear info. it was called vandalism. Happyhappy2014 (talk) 14:16, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- Can you cite clear evidence that if a news is not covered extensively by other portals, this immediately rules out its inclusion? There are plenty of examples of news not covered by Eurovoix or Eurofestivales, the portal that you mentioned before. I would like to see a link to the clear confirmation that only Eurovoix is reliable, and any other sources shouldn't be included. Spoiler: It doesn't exist. Szyign (talk) 14:49, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- Not to argue, but if you see the newest Eurovoix article for JESC 2025 which is on Spain, you can see in the summary of participants, it is mentioned that Lithuania is considering a return. Also Norway was not included in the countries who have announced non-participation.
- Keep in Mind that this not the official list of participants, everything can still change like San Marino last year. Happyhappy2014 (talk) 02:16, 4 July 2025 (UTC)
- They provided sources though? Other news media might have not received an answer or even conntact anybody about. I don't know how nobody else writing about a correspondence escspot had provided is seen as something bad. If anything it seems to be done in good faith and certainly not a responsibility of escspot? 79.163.227.29 (talk) 14:50, 30 June 2025 (UTC)

At least NRK isn't absent from all future JESC editions, having planned a national final and all. 2600:387:F:5F10:0:0:0:B (talk) 17:44, 3 July 2025 (UTC)
- First, in the article you say is false, there is a source where representatives of the Norwegian broadcaster clearly say they will not take part. Second, you are insulting me, and that is not okay. Third, you deleted your comments in the discussion, which is against Wikipedia rules, so I ask the administrators to take steps @Oswah. Thank you. Kwintesencjax (talk) 18:04, 3 July 2025 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. LizardJr8 (talk) 23:10, 15 August 2025 (UTC)

Possible ChatGPT usage?
[edit]I don't know if it's just me that's noticed this, but under the Production heading, it looks like the body text there has been written by ChatGPT/some sort of other AI. Some points I noticed that stood out are:
- The random bolding of the text "Georgian Government" and "GPB" which isn't common in Wikipedia articles
- The way the text is broken up into shorter more bite-sized chunks instead of full paragraphs
- The reiteration of certain facts that have already been mentioned earlier (such as stating again that the contest will be held in Tbilisi on the 6th December, even though those have already been mentioned)
- The usage of bullet points at the end of the body text, which again isn't typical of Wikipedia articles
I'm not sure if it's just this editor's writing style or not, but this could warrant further review. Aæãåāàáâä (talk) 19:48, 28 August 2025 (UTC)
- I think its error Happyhappy2014 (talk) 01:40, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- maybe look at the source? Happyhappy2014 (talk) 01:41, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- Im sorry if it looks like A.I i didn't use A.I Eurofan 1235688 (talk) 06:52, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- Just now noticing this after I removed it a while ago, it wasn't ChatGPT but a blatant violation of WP:PLAG – the text was a direct translation (seemingly a work of Google Translate) from a Polish-language article by ESCSpot. The "random bolding" and the text being broken up into "bite-sized chunks" instead of full paragraphs are just characteristic of the style of writing this specific website uses. TVP ABC to air JESC 2025 1 day after the main show on TVP 2
[edit]According to the TVP ABC schedule, they will be airing the contest after all, however it will air the contest the day after the show airs live on TVP2 and TVP Polonia. I don't know if we should still add it for broadcast for Poland or we keep it as it is.
