COVID-19 Response

[edit]

Over the past week, Illinois has been second in COVID-19 deaths, and has had the highest per capita death rate of any large state. Several times in the past month, a new record has been broken in deaths[1]. This has attracted considerable attention from the media[2], and the COVID-19 section should be updated to include this, as seems to have not been changed since early March.

Terrible photograph

[edit]

The portrait photograph shown on this page could not be more unflattering and I suspect comes from a negative campaign ad. Why not use his official portrait on the State of Illinois website (https://www2.illinois.gov/sites/gov/about/Pages/default.aspx)? 2601:243:300:FA60:D15E:84F3:2255:150E (talk) 14:21, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Pritzker and AIPAC

[edit]

I can't find any mention of Pritzker in the book linked in citation 182, Foreign Policy and Ethnic Interest Groups - is it linked only to confirm the description of AIPAC as a pro-Israel lobbying group? If so, is there an alternative source that confirms his tenure on the AIPAC board? 2001:8003:341D:E301:F4D8:B212:29CE:46D4 (talk) 23:53, 14 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I also checked the Foreign Policy and Ethnic Interest Groups source and no mention of Pritzker. The Times of Israel says he served on AIPAC's national board in this article (https://www.timesofisrael.com/after-being-vetted-for-vp-jewish-governor-of-illinois-is-now-hosting-the-dnc/), but gives no source for that information. In addition, he does not appear on the 990s for AIPAC. Xavexgoem (talk) 23:45, 13 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
