Indeed, someone else has changed that content before you even made this edit request so nothing needs to be done regarding this description. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 21:44, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Frank Lampard scored 211 goals at Chelsea, the page says he only scored 147 which discredits him as Chelsea F.C’s greatest goal scorer of all time, this needs to be edited. 116.49.199.4 (talk) 09:53, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: He scored 147 League goals while playing for Chelsea in the infobox which is the caveat that you missed. However, if you are referring to another 147 goals, please be clearer in your edit request. Lightoil (talk) 12:32, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Under Lampard’s return to Chelsea as interim manager, this text should be added:

Frank Lampard’s return to Chelsea as an interim manager started with six consecutive losses including consecutive defeats to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. He earned his first win in a 3-1 away victory at Bournemouth. 2601:189:8200:2A80:E87E:61DE:61FA:DF4D (talk) 21:10, 14 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Picking an article as big as this for your first GA is a really tough job. I see you rank relatively low in authorship (3rd, 9.3%), which isn't an issue my itself, but often these large articles nominated with low authorship have sourcing issues. Therefore I will start this review with a source spot check.

The spot check reference numbers are based on this version of the page.

[25]: ☒N Lampard joined West Ham when his father was the assistant coach, entering as an apprentice in the youth team in 1994 and signing a professional contract the following year. He went on loan to Second Division club Swansea City in October 1995, debuting in his team's victory 2–0 over Bradford City and scoring his first career goal in a match against Brighton & Hove Albion is not supported.

[31]: checkY, though Barely a minute later is not neutral.

[42a]: ☒N It is original research to make interpretations like "West Ham's form suffered" from a primary data source

[47]: ☒N doesn't support He appeared in all of Chelsea's league matches and scored eight goals in the 2001–02 season

[59]: ☒N doesn't support Though Chelsea were eliminated in the Champions League semi-finals by league rivals Liverpool

[106]: ☒N doesn't support at least Lampard, for the second time in his career and to bring his goal tally past 20, for the fifth-consecutive season.

[274]: ☒N doesn't support Upon the conclusion of the season, Lampard was heavily linked with the vacant managerial spot at former club Chelsea

I think I've seen enough to conclude that this article will need a full source-text integrity check before it meets GA verifiability standards. This will take longer than is feasible in the timeframe of a GA review. I would normally quick fail this, but given it has been almost a year since you nominated it, I think you deserve at least a chance to respond. Let me know if you have any questions or would like some more feedback before I fail this. IAWW (talk) 19:12, 2 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I will do a spot check for every source and replace any that fail, I just need a couple days to go through all of them. --Chisperlear (talk) 05:30, 5 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Since it has been a week with no progress, and this article is very far from reaching GA currently, I am going to fail this now. @Chisperlear, I suggest taking on a smaller article for your first GA. If you do end up doing that, feel free to ping me and I will happily answer any questions and/or guide you through the process. IAWW (talk) 12:45, 11 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
