Dutch ancestry

[edit]

It says that Angelina Jolie is a descendant of former Dutch prime minister Wim Kok (1938-2018), which would make her his (grand)daughter. In fact, both Angelina Jolie and Wim Kok descend from the same 18th century person, according to this (Dutch language) website: https://www.nederlands.nl/nedermap/dagcolumn/dagcolumn/129954.html MH154 (talk) 10:00, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Change American to American-Cambodian

Labels referring to Jolie's nationality such as "American actress" should be changed to "American-Cambodian" due to general consistency of assigning nationalities. While she is not widely known for her dual nationality, the same goes for many other celebrities who merely lived in the USA, gained citizenship, and now we refer to them using dual labels such as "Finnish-American" for Linus Torvalds – a man who has no heritage in America. (Or Martina Navratilova, there are many examples. All I ask for is consistency instead of selective reassignment. Thanks.) ~2025-42876-68 (talk) 16:49, 24 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want made. FMRadio :3(chat | edits | she/her) 17:31, 24 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Children count appears inaccurate

[edit]

The first paragraph of the children section says she has six children total, three biological children. Later, this statement “On March 15, 2007, Jolie adopted her fourth child” appears conflicting. I don’t know what is true, but the numbers don’t math. ~2026-14552-91 (talk) 02:35, 7 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

You're right. They should've put third. I'll correct it. Trillfendi (talk) 03:46, 7 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]
