Nope, I finished the game without it, not too big of an issue but still a hugely massive bug, wonder if they fixed it. :)

I killed Gortash and the duke when I first encountered them at the start of act 3 - when I get to the foundry it's all exploded and no submarine for me either.

One of my party members has permanent fly ability but their fly button also went missing out of the blue. If I press Z they just jump.
