This can be done, but unless you’re running massive conductors, you’re going to have too much loss.
Consider using cat6 for the cable run from tx to module, then mount your module on top of tree/pole.
This isn’t even helpful unless you’re going very far, very low, as its main benefit is giving antenna a better los over the curve of the earth.
The formula is generally 1m(antenna altitude)≈ 3km(range)

it’s not really something you can completely fix with a whoop, however, you can adjust your flying to minimize it, the cause of it is flying into turbulent air generated by propellers or outside causes, if you’re trying to stop your momentum by hanging a 180°, that will cause you to fly into your own turbulence. Avoid it by being more gradual in turns, or faster with more power. Watch a video on minimizing prop wash.
