$10/hr hired March 2007, graduated May of that year. Laid off in October of that year two weeks after I bought a car. Manager said I was hired as seasonal help. They never told me this upon hiring.

There was a DJ gig I had at a club sometime around 2016 where a TON of people showed up in flannel and skinny jeans. I thought they came from a 90s party. No, that was just how they showed up one night.

What movie was significantly better because you saw it in a movie theater?

Freddy vs. Jason. Everyone had looked forward to it for over a decade. PACKED theater, many people dressed in costume. Everyone enjoying themselves, applauding, laughing together. I don't think I'll ever have another movie-going experience like that.

On first watch, I thought it was okay. Wasn't happy with the overly comical scenes and wanted something darker or with more of a surprise ending. Did not have great re-watch value on DVD.

There was a small restaurant in my hometown that held about 50 people where the smoking section was literally one step down.

I studied negotiation skills and conflict management skills around end of college circa 2006/2007. Came in handy MANY occasions wherever you go.
