Yes we drove through a ton of them near Obsidian tank! It was very weird to see an endless sea of a single species of tree. Where I’m from in New England we only rarely get pure stands of pine anymore.

We were surprised too! It was very hot and dry the day we arrived and the day we left; but the day we took to explore somehow ended up being one of the few times it rains lol. It was perfect though. Kept the worst of the sunlight at bay which allowed us to enjoy walking around in the open :). Didn’t even get sunburnt!

That is true but I was still surprised at the amount of rain we got! It was a decent downpour. Smelled wonderful.

Sadly there is always the 10% that are unavoidable.
