I have been bored at work. So to pass the time I have made 46 Operators for R6: Siege

The title of this post says it all.

For the past few years I have been working as a security guard on long shifts.

So to pass the time I have come up with plausible videogame design assets. Just something to keep me awake when stuck at a desk for a twelve-hour shift with nothing to do. After all, if I try to be creative and detailed, my mind is too active to potentially fall asleep and lose my job.

Anyway, I have come up with 46 Operator proposals for R6: Siege and have separated them into four groupings.

Group Alpha are the "Reinforcements Operators". Basically an addition of 10 Operators that would be added to Siege upon the launch of a hypothetical tie-in story game wherein players would actually be able to play a story-mode and fight off the White Mask organization. Should players buy and play this game's story at least once, they would unlock five new Attackers and five New Defenders, eight of which hail from the Pathfinder C.T.U.s. The backstory as to why these ten operators were called in to join Rainbow would be to counter the mass-exodus of five Operators to NightHaven (Smoke, Pulse, IQ, Ela, & Finka).

Group Bravo are the "Crossover Operators". Just like with Samuel "Zero" Fisher crossing over from the Splinter Cell franchise, I figure that it is only reasonable to assume that the R.O.S. division of Rainbow is going to be the patch worn by other characters crossing over from other Tom Clancy franchises. So I offer three new Attackers and three new Defenders to join Rainbow-Operation-Staff from the likes of Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six Legacy, H.A.W.X., Splinter Cell, and The Division.

Group Charlie are the "PMC Operators". Basically since the narrative of R6 Siege has been shifted to Rainbow vs. NightHaven, I figured that some of my proposals ought to be from the private sector. And so, I have come up with six Attackers and six Defenders.

Group Delta are the "Standard Operators". Simply put, these eighteen Operators are ones that would join Team Rainbow as your standard recruits to the ranks as other nations get involved with sending assets to Rainbow to assist the team. So there are nine Attackers and nine Defenders.

Now, when I mentioned that I go into detail, I mean that I am very detailed.

These are not just "Here is a guy and his gadget." No. I have come up with loadout arsenals for these operators, each one of them coming with a new gun that fits both their kit and character. I also detail how they function in the sandbox of Siege, pointing out what counters they might have on the enemy team or which operators would synergize with each character. And with the R.O.S. Crossover Operators I have even come up with Battle Pass Proposals and Elite Sets.

Like I said. I was very bored. And I am somewhat of a perfectionist. And maybe Ubisoft should hire me to just sit in corner office to draft up gameplay additions and proper script for OPERATION // SHATTERED MASK.

WARWOLF and ROGUE are still in a bit of a work-in-progress phase to add in their character bios and device evaluations. You know, miscellaneous fluff. But the remaining 44 Operators on the roster are pretty much in their final draft version. All that is really left is to design their character icons.

In the link below I have shared my Google Doc folder that contains all of these character profiles. So feel free to have a read.

Eh. Pretty much like most sequel Zelda games. Link has his initial adventure in Hyrule and after that, goes off to other lands.

Holodrum, Labrynna, Kholint, Termina, World of the Ocean King, and Hytopia.

Oddly enough? Spirit Tracks is an entirely different Link from the one we played as in the Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass.

Same friend. Same.

Well, Ygdrassil is existent within the realm between realms; yet it is physically traversible.

Perhaps the Everywhen is a similar place, but with its methods of getting there - beyond death - require a specific set of conditions being met?

Týr is implied to travel to other realities by way of exploiting something about the nature of the World Tree in order to make his way to Egypt, Aztec, Celtics, Japan, Greece, and beyond.

Perhaps by using something that - by its very nature breaches into other planes of existence - Týr was able to find his way to the Everywhen and use it as another hub that allowed further traversal?

I think they should have made a co-op feature for the game, where a Player 2 could be Zelda using the Sheikah Slate to fight; allowing two differnet forms of combat and play.

Perhaps as a DLC this could have been fun to explore? Or if Nintendo wanted to make a pre-sequel between BotW and TotK?

To get the true ending requires a LOT of the community sharing notes; just like classic Zelda on the NES/Famicom.

It is a fun game that is a nice twist, giving a refreshing experience to scratch that itch that Zelda games satiate. But it's combat is difficult. Think of it like Dark Souls. You will die over and over again. But that is okay. You will learn and adapt. And it will be part of the lore.

We were originally going to get one, but the team kept changing direction and that is how we got Skyward Sword.

It would be nice to actually get the sequel to the Twilight Princess game we wanted. After all, we still don't have an answer as to where the Triforce of Din that Ganondorf possessed had vanished to when he died. Which means someone else has it and is likely causing havoc in a nearby land.

I guess people are downvoting you because they don't seem to realize that all the Zelda Manga are just semi-canon retellings. It may be the structure of your argument sounding a bit arrogant with how few words have been used; leading them to believe that your quoting of 'rewrote' to be taking out of the context that you truly intended.

But yeah. The Manga are only semi-canon interpretations. Since they had to make it a written/illustrated format; Link had to become more than just a vessel for the player. Thus, he has to have his own dialogue and input on the story besides just physical action and reaction. The same thing is true of the other manga adapations. Ocarina of Time for example had it written in the manga that Volvagia was a baby dragon that Link had nursed back to health, only to find her corrupted by Ganondorf. This allows Link to not feel like a disconnected stranger in the crisis he is actively thwarting; but rather as another victim of Ganondorf's actions as the villain is having a direct impact on the main character's life and those he cares for on a personal level.
