Played an hour and a half of mystery heroes. Decent time. Won half the games. Lost the other half.
Think to myself, "Alright, I'll go play a couple of QP games before quitting."
First game is a game in progress with the team being streamrolled and is over in under 2 minutes. Second game is another stomp. Third game, another stomp, team couldn't even get past the first choke. Fourth game, another loss, but at least there were 2 caps.
Why Blizzard expect QP to be taken seriously when the matchmaking quality is so unserious and poor is beyond me. The mode is even more of a joke than mystery heroes.
Thank you for calling this out - I've been saying it for a while. There's never been an actual official confirmation (either from the Bioware writers or Yvonne herself) stating that Yvonne was too busy which is why Miranda's character was lessened in ME3. It's just a rumour perpetuated only here on this sub and repeated as fact, never with an official source.
At the end of the day, she still has more content than any other non-squadmate ME2 character (barring maybe Mordin?) so clearly had enough time in her schedule for that quantity of content plus coming back for the Citadel DLC dialogue.
Not to forget after ME2's massive roster, cutbacks were going to have to be made for ME3 to get it released - Tali and Garrus escaped it, Mordin/Legion had some story relevance, and the rest were pushed back. That's just the reality of it.
The problem is the last 2 mid-season balancing patches have also been (on the whole) underwhelming. We got the Thorn and Rauora changes which were, admittedly, amazing. They felt substantial and changed how the ops both played. But then apart from those we only got a couple of other changes, like Smoke's shield coming back and Jackal frags (lol).
As nice as these smaller buffs are (and still larger and more impactful than these nothingburger 'refinement' changes) we're only seeing changes to only 3 or 4 operators in the major balancing patch, when the game has nearly 80 operators. That's not enough.
