It’s a lot of content to get hit with at once. Just do your best to stay on top of the material. As annoying as it is, it really is very helpful to go into lecture having already read the book or watched the pre-lecture videos (if any). It makes the content more digestible to be seeing it for the second time.

It really helped to run through the objectives with a friend in the evenings leading up to the exams. We would create a giant google doc with all the content and just review it with each other, taking turns and each talking over chapters we felt respectively weak on.

Attend lecture and read the book. The book goes more into depth in certain places so be sure to only stick to the pages posted by the profs but it’s really helpful in breaking down the more complicated processes you’re expected to know.

The TA Sessions were more helpful for some than others and personally I didn’t find them very useful to my studying style. I attended for the points but didn’t rely on them as source material.

I did! It seems the primary issue was my interview and my extracurricular scores

Dixie Chicken is a cstat staple. Century Square is the new/ modern shopping and eating destination. Downtown Bryan is neat but it’s a bit out of the way from main campus. Depending on what day your tour is, if it’s the first Friday of the month, Bryan hosts “First Friday” and they do a big outdoor event with vendors and farmers markets. It’s really fun!

TAMU File Review

Hi! Any previous TAMU applicants able to give me a time frame for when they send out file reviews? The email they sent the day of decisions said Spring of 2025 which wasn’t very helpful….

Waiting to accept a job offer based on what the review says. If the review says my experience was lacking I’d like to find a more veterinary centric job whereas right now I have an offer for a lab job. Unfortunately my offer for the lab job expires at the end of next week so I need to choose soon.
