hi! i think it would help a lot. but it’s important to note that accutane is one of the strongest retinoids.

if you instead meant that you’ve tried accutane before but used too high of a dose, trying a lower one is certainly worth a shot.

here’s a good comparison pic for the forehead texture. the fine lines are still there but considerably diminished. feel free to reach out to me in dms! (:

i am still on it and have about a month left.

i started the first two weeks at 20mg per day, then did 40mg per day for 4 months, and am now on 60mg for the last month and a half. so the total duration will be about 6 months

thank you so much! nope, no other serums. i take some vitamin C orally but not topically. and yes i’d say the moisturizer drives most of the hydrated appearance.

that and actual hydration, as in water hydration. consistency and a good moisturizer works wonders!

the two work on different timelines, so I got a pretty solid sense of what changes came from where.

if I had only taken fin, I think I still would’ve had great results. it definitely stopped the loss from progressing, and I think I would’ve recovered ~80–90% of my “prior” hair. it preserved and revived follicles that were weakened but still hanging on.

the real difference with min is that I honestly think it gave me more hair/follicles than I had even before balding started. a lot of tiny white hairs across my scalp turned into actual thick hair. that felt very different from just watching miniaturized hairs recover.

i promise it’s me! i am on accutane, which is causing the smaller nose

i don’t see why not.

it’s like brushing my teeth. i am content doing it to maintain my health and/or appearance

thank you! and that’s fair. i’m lucky to not have any side effects from it but i understand many people don’t have good experiences.

no, finasteride and minoxidil + better health habits did
