I feel that. I went to a small school from pre-school all the way to 8th grade. It didn't have a high school.
Over the years people would cycle in and out a bit, but the core group was always there. We saw each other every day and literally grew up together. Around 25 of us.
I haven't heard from a single one of them in over 20 years. Thats life.
I think that first shelf would be great with descending alphabetical order, from top to bottom.
That's a great overall collection! It just kept going and going. I'm making dinner so I can't look at every title, but was happy to see Young Frankenstein on DVD, and The Craft on VHS.
Every time I see this stuff it makes me want to go to a thrift store and try my luck.
So, whether or not music is good or bad is incredibly subjective. You know that, of course.
I'm getting old and at this point I could not care less if someone likes or dislikes my music, and likewise I dont make judgements on other people's taste.
I say that to say, New Found Glory is exactly the kind of band that my group of friends 20 years ago made fun of. When you're in the punk scene, or adjacent to it, your list of what bands you like practically defines you. It was crazy. People that liked the 'wrong' music got eye rolls at best. Woe is the person who liked anything on the radio.
The guy who asked was almost certainly saying, why are you buying that crap?
He's just a jerk that hasn't fully grown up yet. Pay it no mind and enjoy your records!
