Last year i got my iPhone 16 Pro stolen right out of my pocket. I went to one of the drink tables, purchased 2 beers and had one in each hand. Making my way back into the crowd, at points I held my cans above my head- at this point i think someone reached into my sweatshorts and stole my iPhone (and vape, sigh).
Bring or purchase a clutch loop for the love of god. Also, there is a way if you are on iPhone to disable control centre on the lockscreen- the theif cannot turn off reception without unlocking the phone. And if you're like me, it was stolen and it's long gone, last seen in Vietnam 8 months ago, DO NOT remove the phone from Find My. You can remote wipe it, but don't remove your apple account.
