The Garden

to answer your question, this definitely does feel like a resolve to something. it's dramatic, emotional and introspective. It's an all around great track and your vocals are awesome. really cool concept for an album, btw!! :)

Real interesting track, I like the effects on the percussion and vocals! it could be my shitty speakers though, but i have a bit of a hard time hearing them and feel like they could be a bit louder.

The Garden -- what genre would you say this is and how are the vocals?

This song is awesome man. I love the chord progression and the beat is super energetic. As some others have stated I think the vocals need a little polish, but mostly the production on them. If your friends ever got together to record this live in a good room with some good mics this would sound even better. For what you have going though, it's really great. I love the raw feel of this, it's very genuine. Keep it up.

I think you've got a real knack for this. It's simple, pretty minimal, but incredibly effective. It never feels too boring or too low-energy. The vocals are unique and stand out a lot from other musicians, especially in this more indie-rock space. I love the subtle psychedelic feel this has, too. Fun and pleasant music video. I think this is a hit :)

first of all, I think the genre is indie-rock. It does have some pop elements in it but I could see this being played in soft-rock/indie spaces. The production is really great, I feel like it walks a good middle-ground between someone with a lot of technical skill but also lo-fi enough to standout from mainstream works. I like the lyrics, and I feel like they also do a good job being abstract but clear enough to understand what the message is.

Real catchy work and well-produced. great work! :)

Really great song actually! I'm quite surprised. I love how energetic the instrumental is. Your vocals are pretty unique and very expressive and I enjoyed it. I haven't listened to a lot of The Strokes but this does invoke some of the stuff I've heard, I think. I think the only thing I would change here is a little break from the formula, like maybe a chorus that stands out a little more, or maybe even a guitar solo at the 75%ish mark of the song.
