Hi! I was planning to do some sort of short campaign (around 5 games) for a friend group where each scenario gives a tiny reward to the winner for the next scenario, and overall they gain points across all five scenarios to compare once they're done (i.e. 3pts the 1st place, 2 the 2nd, 1 the 3rd and 0 everyone else).
The basic idea is taking scenarios from seafarers and tweak some of them to add elements here and there with a narration regarding clans/civs that find the islands, and the challenges they face while developing their settlements. A few examples:
-
The volcano tile, like a gold river but with the risk of getting catched in the eruption whenever it's time to harvest
-
The treasures from Treasure, Dragons and Adventurers combined with the pirate bases from P&E
-
Dragons, from TD&A (likely from the enchanted island scenario)
-
Some elements from C&K
-
The civs from , probably changed a bit to fit all the setting
-
A few custom victory cards (mostly taken from )
-
The coins from T&B and P&E, found that if implemented correctly the games shorten a bit and keep fluid. Also the Harbor Master card
-
Still debating if using the Durango hex, or an equivalent. Found a neat castle hex on 3D that would look good.
Those are most of the ideas I'm working with, but I'm sure there's plenty of people here that have a few that would be interesting to add into the mix. Let me know what you think!
Sort of yes and no. Not always you get a good weapon riven, and even then you have to farm Kuva to start rolling it for nice stats unless you stick to selling the unrolled versions for a less yet still high amount.
I like to have it as a side activity relying only on my weekly Kuva to get by until I hit a good riven. It's some nice income spike here and there, though buying and selling prime junk gets me just as much and I personally find that more engaging.
