Cohabitation is a MAJOR risk

Discussion of, or image/video depicting ferrets interacting or cohabitating with other animals is not allowed and will be removed. This is a risky behavior that we do not condone and will not encourage.

No medication dosing, concentrations, etc. We are not an alternative to veterinary consultations

No ferret endangerment

Ferrets must be in a safe environment

No fundraising

We do not allow fundraising requests of any kind.

No advertising

No advertising of any kind. if your post/comment directly benefits your business, shelter, etc. we consider advertising. Asking for follows on other social media platforms is prohibited.

No rehoming

We do not allow advertising posts. This includes rehoming posts that are your own, discussing ferrets in shelters for rehoming, found on Craigslist and other sources.

No shaming

We strive to educate people regardless of where they got their ferret (shelter, breeder, pet store, etc.) or food choice that allows a ferret to thrive (kibble, ADR, FDR, raw, frankenprey, or whole prey.

No inappropriate food or drinks

Inappropriate food (i.e., other than raw meat, cat/kibble food) will be removed due to safety concerns.

No disclosing locations where ferrets are illegal

Locations disclosing locations where ferrets are illegal will be removed.

No negative punishment methods, including scruffing

Negative punishments (scruffing for non-medical or safety reasons, biting back, hot sauce, flicking nose, smacking, shaking, etc.) will be subjected to comment removal, temporary or permanent bans. These are not teaching methods to be used for behavioral training.

No live feeding pictures, videos, discussions, etc.

Live feeding is not allowed to be discussed or depicted in any form.
