why is firefox slower than brave?

why is firefox slower than brave?

i tried both,brave has been far faster in my usage with js heavy sites. such as youtube and google earth. also web games. but there was no difference in html or non js heavy sites. so why is firefox slow in js?

No affiliate/referral links for Brave or any other browser. No linking to pages with referral/affiliate links unless the page offers a normal link and provides the referral link separately where it's explicit that it's a referral link. Example: the page must not be sneaking a referral link into a link that looks like a regular link to a download or home page etc.

Sure, memes are funny sometimes. But, users post them too often (including duplicates) just to instigate arguments.

No posting FAQs or How-Tos

If someone posts asking for help how to do something, that's fine to link to a FAQ/how-to in a comment to help them out. It's not okay to just make a post that links to a FAQ/how-to. Historically, posts like that have just been used for spam.

Easy on browser company politics

If you want to go crazy with posting browser company politics that have nothing or little to do with an actual browser, create an r/browserpolitics subreddit and post there instead.

Also, Firefox is a browser and not a company. If you link to a post about Mozilla, the post title shouldn't say Firefox.

We will see how this goes and if we have to ban these type of posts or not.

Include link to original article if possible

Some posts are just links to other sites that are reposting an original article as-is (or close to the same) just for ad revenue. If the page doesn't contain a link to the original article it's copying, please post it if possible.

Make use of downvoting and reporting for spam

If a post or comment is violating the rules, report it as much as possible and downvote it into oblivion until a mod can take care of it.

No tier lists

They're repetitive, spammy and annoying to subscribers.

No more "Is Opera spyware?" posts

There have been a zillion posts about this. Search for those, read them and respond to them if you want.
