Just a few days ago, I became interested in Wicca, but I don't have much information. Can I, as a man, also start practicing Wicca? How have you felt entering this world? What should I know? What do you recommend? I'm from Medellín, Colombia, and I don't have much information about it. What experiences have you had with Wicca? What books do you recommend?
Ever since leaving religion I have been wondering if there really is any kind of guardian angel out there. Curious to know if this belief is present in the Wicca or not
Someone asked if I may be wiccan and while I do believe many of the things wiccans believe, religiously/spiritually speaking, I don't believe in magic per say... well, I believe in energy, and that it's in everything, and that it can be used, but I don't think it comes from a certain special flower or something. I don't believe one plant contains more or different energy than another plant, but I believe with intention the energy of any plant can be changed and used (for the same purposes). So I believe the energy comes from the plant (any plant), or the universe I guess, I think everything has a soul from mountains to rocks to the tiniest piece of sand, but the magic comes from the intention, emotions, thoughts and actions of the human.
Also I don't believe magic is strong enough to influence another person, just your own mindset, feelings and health. Although those can, in fact, influence other people.
I was wondering what you guys believe about where the magic comes from, how strong it is, or whether you believe in magic at all.
