Hello, am planning to visit the Tohoku region next year possibly during Feb-March. I will be travelling with parents who are in their early-60s who would like to experience snow, but not too heavy snowfall (i.e. would still like to experience snowfall, but not too drastic. Temperature in the negatives of up to -10°C is fine as well). Would like to seek some advice if visiting in late-Feb to Mid-March (24 Feb to 10 Mar) would be a suitable time considering its the shoulder season transitioning from winter to spring?
