Incivility

Follow all Reddiquette rules.

Please be respectful & civil to allow for quality conversation & discourse in r/Supernatural. There will always be fans with different opinions.

Keep discussions appropriate and respectful even with fans with different points of view.

Do not reference previous posts, moderator actions, or grievances. Please message the mod team directly to discuss any concerns or frustrations.

Post Flairs

All posts must be flared with the appropriate season or content. Do not flair these posts as "News/Misc" or "Fanworks". Do not spoil any seasons past the posted flair. If OP is talking about Season 10 in the post, the flair should be labelled as "Season 10." With the show end of the show, any posts discussing future theories (like the prequel) should be flared as Season 15.

Unrelated Content

All submissions must be about the television show Supernatural.

Pets named after characters, street names, or an actor's work in another show/movie will be removed. Please refer to this for information about actors' other works.

Posts and comments about the cast & crew's personal events and/or charity works are allowed.

SPN easter eggs in other content are allowed as long as it is new.

Piracy

Piracy is prohibited. Links and requests for pirated torrents, streams, and leaks will be removed.

Links to unauthorized Supernatural merchandise posts and comments linking will be removed and the poster banned.

Low-effort/Low-quality Content

Low-effort/Low posts are considered to not start a discussion. They will be removed at the discretion of the mods.

These include: one-line posts, memes, polls/surveys, screenshots, bumper stickers, gifs, etc. AI-generated works including fanart, fanfiction, spam, and content will be removed.

Meme trends are prohibited. These are posts posted to all fandom subreddits and social media.

AI Created Content

AI-generated content is prohibited. This includes any posts or comments created by any AI programs including Midjourney, DALL-E, ChatGPT, etc.

AI content can include text or images such as scripts/fanfiction, fan art, memes, questions, polls, videos, etc.

Reposts/Common Topics

Reposts/Common Topics will be removed.

Please use the search bar or check pinned posts to find existing posts about the same topic before posting. Supernatural Video Game

Repetitive posts are determined by if the same topic has been submitted multiple times recently.

Multiple submissions of the same artwork will be classified as spam. Album and fandom creation posts by the same submitter are limited to one post a week.

Proper Artist Credits

Fanworks posts must properly credit the artist. These include fanart, fanfic, scripts, cosplay, etc.

Always link the original post or link. Do not screenshot or post unauthorized content.

Do not remove watermarks or re-upload from unauthorized social media sites.

Spam

Reddit's rules on spam and self-promotion will be followed.

Submitting multiple posts in a short period of time or about the same topic will be considered to be spam and removed.

Posts submitted to multiple subreddits or self promotion will be considered as spam and removed.

These include repetitive posts about: convention photo ops, one-liner questions, merchandise "show-and-tells," artwork, etc.

Please use album posts to showcase multiple photos and images.

Spoiler Markups

Users cannot spoil past the season the OP has flaired their post without spoiler markup. If the OP indicates in the text of their post that they have not finished the season their post is flaired, do not spoil them past where they are. Always put any future spoilers in the spoiler markup so OP has the choice to click and read or not.

Non-Descriptive/Improper Post Titles

Post titles must contain an exact description of the content. Do not add additional commentary, jokes, or filler. Titles cannot be vague, trolling, or misleading.

No Complaints or Moderator Mentions: Do not reference previous posts, moderator actions, or any grievances within the title or body of the post.

Title Spoilers

Titles containing key plot points or spoilers will be removed.

Adding plot developments, major events, or details about character arcs in post titles are considered spoilers and will be removed.

Supernatural creatures, locations, and major characters' names are not considered to be spoilers.

Positive Vibes Posts

Positive comments are only allowed on Positive Vibes posts.

Do not engage in arguments, debates, or make negative comments.

Positive Vibes posts that are designed to hate something are prohibited.
