Bigoted/Hateful Conduct

This community is a friendly forum for all people and is an LGBTQI+ positive space. Any hateful or bigoted speech will result in removal and a ban.

Rude/abusive behavior

Abusive or inflammatory behavior, such as calling other users names (such as "retard" or other derogatory terms) or using violence-laced speech ("kys", "fuck [name]" wishing harm on them, etc.). This will not be tolerated. This also extends to insulting IOI developers - they are real people who also love Hitman, and they read Reddit for enjoyment and feedback. Calling them names elicits neither of those.

Real people/events

Posts about IRL occurrences that may be similar to something related to HITMAN will be removed.

Porn

Linking to or posting something with pornographic content is prohibited. This doesn't apply to absolutely everything NSFW, of course. Only pornography.

Piracy

Talking about pirating the Hitman games is NOT allowed. Advocating and supporting pirating the games can result in consequences up to a permanent ban.

Uncredited Artwork/AI Content

You may not post artwork that is uncredited to the original artist(s). This does not apply to meme templates, although it is recommended to credit them anyway. Furthermore the use of AI generated content is prohibited and will be removed.

Leaks

Leaks/datamines of unreleased/upcoming content is prohibited. Modded content that contains unreleased/upcoming content is prohibited.

Spam and Duplicate Posts

If the same exact post/video is posted more than once within a short amount of time, it is considered spam. This can be subjective, but the general rule of thumb is: if the same thing is posted more than once within a 6-month period. "Bald guy who looks like 47", “Agent 47 billboard next to a baby billboard”, “47 on a train”, "47 weighs... on a scale", ”does the game go on sale?” etc. Well-known cases like these will be deleted regardless of amount of time between posts.

Mega-Threads

If there is an existing Mega-Thread, any related posts outside of that thread will be removed.

Spoilers

Use spoiler tags when describing the game's narrative in the post title. Spoiler tags are strongly encouraged but not required in comments.

Low-Effort

Low effort/karma farming content will be removed. Eg: AI-generated art, NPCs glitching out, dead bodies laying in a “funny” position, “who would win” posts, etc. This can be a subjective rule, so if you feel that your post was wrongly removed please contact us.

Let's Plays

No videos that are simply playthroughs/walkthroughs of any part of the game. This content is done by people such as Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, theRadBrad, etc. This rule DOES NOT pertain to speedruns or Kill Everyone challenges.

Memes

Memes must be related to the Hitman games. The image/video must be edited so that it relates to the Hitman games. However, it cannot just be the text content that relates to the game. It must also be the image content. (Even just editing 47's face onto the meme suffices.)
