Results from team qualification at Women’s Asian Championships are in, and unlike the men’s side parity has remained strong for Worlds qualification. China has pulled out far in the lead, but overall the distribution of scores from qualified teams across continents is quite even. 

No country earned a higher score but failed to qualify due to continental limits. Panama has a solid lead among the non-qualified teams, but was still almost a point behind the lowest-scoring qualified team. The distribution of scores among-non-qualified teams is also showing decent depth across continents, with multiple teams from every continent except Oceania finishing with 140+. And the top three non-qualified teams each represent a different continent. These results honestly break down neater than you would expect them to.

It will be interesting to see if Europe continues the trend.
