Inappropriate Language

We will not tolerate racism, gender discrimination, homophobic or sexist slurs in any capacity; race, gender, handicap, sexual orientation, etc.. will not be allowed as platform for disingenuous comments, jokes, or insults in this subreddit. Explicitly targeting or harassing users is forbidden. All submissions will be removed and offenders may be permanently banned.

All other forms of profanity are mandatory.

Political Posting & Grandstanding

Political grandstanding and political party rhetoric is not allowed.

Furthermore, any submission involving politics, sociopolitical, or geopolitical issues must be in direct relation to or impact the Boston Bruins and their affiliates including: minor league teams, current, and former players, well reported prospects, coaches, staff, and media partners. Submissions will be removed and repeated offenders will be banned.

Trolling & Bad Faith Participation

Comments and posts submitted in poor faith will be removed. This is more specifically defined as intentionally being dishonest, misleading others, entering into an engagement without the intention or means to civilly converse, or violate basic standards of honesty in dealing with others. Submissions are suspect to removal and action against offenders will vary at the discretion of the moderators.

Pornography or Graphic Images

All pornography, graphic, or disturbing submissions will be removed. Repeated offenses will result in a ban from the subreddit.

Doxxing

Doxing other redditors is forbidden. You may choose to disclose your own identity at your own discretion. Submissions will be removed and offenders will be banned.

Low Effort Post

Low effort submissions that do not lend to discussion or substantive subreddit cultural value may be removed. Additionally, submissions that do not lend enough context may be also be removed at moderator descension. Repeated offenses may result in a ban.

Trolling Opponents

Trolling or otherwise being an insufferable asshole in this subreddit other opponent subreddits will be reviewed and action will be taken at the discretion of the moderators.

Misinformation / Lack of Credibility

All submissions that promote or contain misinformation will be removed. This includes things related to hockey like trades, player information, schedule changes and things like political propaganda, refuted conspiracy theories, and attempts to undermine the integrity of this subreddit. Repeated offenders will be banned.

Regarding Media & News Submissions

All media reporting & team related news needs to include sources, including Twitter. This is really an extension of rule #8 to explicitly state that screenshots and tweets need to include sources either a direct link or included in the comments. We prefer people to submit a direct link to the source.
